FFR PERFORMANCE PSA (Related to windows)

Recently I discovered a strange power setting set on seemingly all windows systems I've found, and it has and does continue to affect many people causing BS Lag. SO HERE YA GO GUYS I FIXED IT.

    FIRST!

Go to start -> search -> Power options

    AND CLICK THIS
(Alternatively right click your taskbar battery icon and select power options)

    SECOND!

Find your active plan indicated by the selected box/field

In this image I have Power Saver Selected

    THIRD!

Select "Change Plan Settings" for your active plan and then find "Change advanced Power settings" as seen below brightness options in this image

And you'll find yourself in advanced settings which look like this

    FOURTH!

Scroll down to "Processor Power Management" and Press the "+" To expand it.
Next Expand "Minimum Processor state" Directly below it again using the next "+"
    We should now be here:

    FIFTH!
If your values for plugged in or on battery for your active plan are ANYTHING EXCEPT 0 SET THAT SHIT TO 0%

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT WINDOWS Y U DO THIS

You're welcome FFR and congrats to the 50 new D7's we'll see in the next week as a result of this TOTALLY RETARDED SETTING.

Mine was at 5%. I put it at 0%.
But I have no idea what I'm doing and why I should expect it to work.

5% isn't as bad but isn't 0%, the way I figure this setting has System Idle Process hold a certain % of cpu in reserve for ??? reason, most people had this at 100% which seems retarded, there should be no reason your pc uses 100% of your cpu in a utilized but idle state, even 5% should have an impact and 0% should be the "ideal", allow your cpu to setup its own clock rates and whatnot, don't allow windows to force such a state, because fuck windows.

Edit: I'm pretty sure this + the standalone guide + other minor performance fixes like disabling aero = ffr performance rosetta stone DOMINATED

Use cortana to search power options or right click the "Start button" and select power options then follow as normal

I meant for generalized. Your explanation works perfectly fine for windows 10 as well XD

in other words, any tips for how to get win 10 to be lag free. Because I've tried about everything I can think of and your tip here helped a bit clean my lag up, but it's still got some bad stutter at sections like I can play through it fine but it DOES affect my score x.x

Oh, try to find a windows basic theme that disables transparency elements on windows, standalone, try high priority through task manager and make sure nothing else is taxing your CPU much and you should be home free, if you have a browser open with Twitch or Youtube or some other shit you can be pretty sure it'll lag FFR, The wikia has some other performance tips and I plan to add this too it when I find someone to beautify and format it for Wikia. Beyond those measures there isn't a whole lot, you can also inside the standalone go to view -> quality -> low, and also make sure you're set to 60 fps in game

Edit: The windows basic themes at the bottom and/or window colour set to "Basic", idk how w10 supports this kinda stuff.

win10 doesn't have basic or classic themes that i can find, but i found the high contrast options

If that kills the transparency elements of window panes (Such as those present in Windows Aero (W7) and Metro (W8)) then it's what you want.
