    Halo 5 & MCC

    Does anyone else play? If you have, how long? Which is your favorite?

    Been playing since late H2, purchased my first 360 early H3, didn't get good until early Halo: Reach. The game died thanks to Reach shenanigans, and the death blow was H4, revived only recently (early-mid H5: Guardians). I bought well over a grand worth of gaming and streaming equipment just for streaming, but then stopped playing last November for no reason. From what I've been reading, they've been stepping up their game. However the game is still lacking small crap, and the community is cancerous (every particular game community is cancerous, it's not 'if,' it's 'how much')

    My gamertag is The Ko7a, I'd be willing to hop on if anyone else here plays.

      i still play halo 3 and halo 4 sometimes although it doesnt play like halo its still somewhat fun

          Don't think Reach killed the series. Was a pretty solid game for both casual and competitive play. But yee... Halo 4 definitely killed the scene when the new devs, unsuprisingly, didn't deliver the quality Bungie dished out.

                      also Reach didn't kill the series rofl, it was definitely 343's Halo 4 that put the nail in the coffin. Reach was still good enough to hold on to a shred of 3's competitiveness.

                          Introducing yourself by talking about a game you like to play, seems familiar...

                          Never got too big into Halo honestly. I loved playing it during ~2009, but never got serious into it. If you're into streaming good luck with that. It's hard to get a good audience for streaming.

                                  Heh, Halo nerd like me, eh? It's really too bad that I just... I guess stopped when Bungie went off. I think the franchise was done when they released Reach to be honest with you. All this extra stuff that's happening is all just... idk, I guess not needed? Feels like it anyways.

                                      Maybe they were just ready to move on to something else... someone had to pick up the torch. It is unfortunate that the torch is kinda sputtering now. Like the flames arent that high and its not very hot. Like more torch references.

                                      I like the story in halo 5. I think it is well told, but im not really understanding the requisition system and like the cards and whatnot. I liked it when you just got to a point and unlocked stuff and you didnt have to get lucky with some sort of random card drop...
