for those that don't know about amplitude and frequency, shame on you. frequency was harmonix's first major game, and amplitude, the sequel, is what brought harmonix into the spotlight as one of the best music game companies around. guitar hero, rock band, dj hero, all harmonix games.
in 2014 a kickstarter for amplitude hd was made, and it garnered over $800,000.

ffr's own kgz has a track in the game, it's supposedly one of the hardest. some of the most infamous in-house artists make a come back, like symbion project, inter:sekt (if you played frequency, inter:sekt was one half of the single hardest fucking song in the game, end of your world), and freezepop (who we have here on ffr!)
frequency and amplitude were my windows into music gaming and electronic music.
and from the looks of this gameplay, even though the guy playing is a scrub, this is the spiritual successor fans of the originals have been waiting for. YOU CAN SWAP BETWEEN FREQUENCY OR AMPLITUDE STYLE GAME PLAY. HOLY SHIT.
