Hey all,
I re-activated the league from last season. This was run through NFL.com and can be accessed using the same account you created last year*. The pool of players from last year are all invited again, and if anyone new wants to play then I'm sure we can balance it out.
What are your opinions on a draft date? The season starts Thursday September 10th, so we need to find a date before then that works for everyone. Draft usually takes 2 hours but you can always rely on and pray to the AutoDraft gods.
My initial thought is next Saturday night around 5 PM PST (8 PM EST). I'm open to any suggestions.
*If you didn't play last year but would like to this year, here are the details:
Here is the information and link to sign up (creating an NFL account is required, but it is quick and simple). Choose a team name and then you're set!

I'm going to quote last year's post as a primer for anyone new:
To anyone who is on the fence about joining, do it! You only need to commit about 15 minutes a week once you draft your team. Those 15 minutes would be to see which team certain players are facing, possibly making adjustments based on the schedule, or even just looking at who you're going up against head to head and adjusting your roster based on that.
Example:
QB Peyton Manning is your primary quarterback. Week 5 you log in and you see he has a bye, aka his team does not have a game to play this week. This normally would result in you receiving 0 point for the QB position. To avoid that, you can substitute in another quarterback from your reserves, or pick one up from free agency (the pool of undrafted/dropped players) and sub him in for a week.
Besides byes, its mostly pretty smooth running and is fun to track during the week, there are numerous tooltips and expert rankings and community messageboards that aid newer owners in grasping the game and the players in it , while exchanging barbs with whomever you're matched up against that week (all matchups are head to head), we play 13 weeks of regular season matchups, and then the top 6 teams engage in a single elimination playoff bracket during weeks 14,15,16 (the amount of teams in the playoffs can be adjusted pre-season if we wish).
Other than that, any questions or concerns can most definitely be directed toward myself, as well as V I'm sure.
Here is a scoring breakdown for how play works. I highlighted the most important stats. These are what each owner will attempt to maximize with their roster each week, in hopes that the cumulative amount earned exceeds the person you're going head to head with that week:
