So I played some FFR the other day

Still not used to it at all. I tried making my settings as similiar as I could to my SM client but I still don't get the same feel as I could. Even if I raise the FPS around the same as my SM client, it still feels like the arrows are moving too fast. Plus, I can't seem to get a nab on the correct judge offset. Any tips and tricks to modify the R3 engine to your comfort level?

best thing I find to adjust to R^3 is to first try playing a song without any sort of audio, and then check your offset, and set your judge to that. Afterwards, play the song with audio, check your offset, and use the difference between the recommended offset and your judge offset to change your global offset, or change your global offset until the audio queue makes sense to you.

However sometimes I like to cheat and set my offset a bit later (being like -0.2006 to recommended judge offset) just so I hit late notes better. Do what you think feels right.

This may sound stupid gold, but how do you make the global offset correct if you don't have audio enabled?

you disable the audio and play the song without audio to find your natural judge offset, and then play the song with audio, using your natural judge offset to see how much the global offset makes an impact on your judge offset.

        for example =
you play the song with no audio and your judge offset says 0.152.
As for me, I would set my judge offset to 0.05 (because it gives a little bit of lean-way for hitting late arrows).
Afterwards, turn the audio back on and play the song using a 0.05 judge offset.
when completing, the game recommends an offset of -0.296.
difference between 0.152 and -0.296 = 0.448. Add 0.45 to global offset and see if it helps.

Every song and its timing is different on very miniscule levels, so switching global offset around becomes a common thing. (at least for me it is...)

I see two different numbers when I right click my speed mod. Which number should I focus on?
