    Got a question for indexers.

Is 340bpm too much for you?
I'd like to know what's the level of people playing, and adjust the difficulty of my upcoming pack.

340 is pretty had to hit. I can barely hit that, and that's all dependent if the patterns are friendly or not.
On index, my limit is about 270 to 280; then again, I don't really play too much index.

So I guess my songs will really set a new goal to best players here. Yay.

290 was and maybe still is about my limit.

340 is above my physical capabilities for an extended period of time. In bursts it could be done.

If it were possible at all for me I would have already hit that limit a long time ago. I simply can't go any faster.

I think if you have a pack with 340bpm streams/trills and call it an "Index pack" it'll still draw mostly spread players

index patterns aren't very fun on spread though

Only person I knew that could do 340 for a fair amount of time was Vertex. He nearly AA'd X Soldier Storm on 1.3 and that's right around 340 I believe. My speed caps at around 325 for about 16 measures or so. I haven't played index in months so I can't get anywhere near there now (although, I'm thinking about playing again)

But yeah, 340's doable, it's just out of almost everyone's range for the most part. Also, I'm with Wafles on that, When I warm up with Tachyon stuff on rates, some of the patterns are extremely uncomfortable and not spread-friendly.

I'm surprised you're still dedicated to making a pack, awesome to see there's someone who still believes ( ^◡^)

Re: Got a question for indexers.

340 for anything more than 4 measures becomes incredibly annoying. I've passed Astrofalcon 1.4 rate and Kiranger Yellow Monkey Remix 1.4 rate which are ~350 BPM 16th unbroken streams 4-6 measures at a time. VerTex barely passed 16 unbroken measures of 360 when I gave him one of my charts to try.

In short there's nothing wrong with giving high BPMs like that but doing it for long streams gets nonsensical. On that topic, do not do something like put a 1 measure gap in between two 6 measure 350 BPM streams. That *REALLY* pisses players like me off, I'd rather just not play the file at all at that point.

Thank you all guys for your answers!
I have another question for you, how do you cope with pressing hands? I don't mean spread handstreams, but some occasional stomps during slow, <180bpm parts (not being a part of streams). Or, is it easy for pure indexers to play jumptrills LD/UR or LD/U? I've seen some lately and they look index-friendly if you expect them.

Bad news and a spoiler for you. One of the charts planned is 357 by Melyceria & Disease. I'll think about your hint though.

Expect the pack to come in a month from now.
