Why Fluttershy? I'm pretty sure Rarity is the best pony. Also, a lot of dudes in my unit think that Rainbow Dash is the best, going so far as to acquire a tattoo of her, what is the big attraction? I kinda find her too loud for my tastes (Fluttershy is alright, I just dislike the shyness being played up as much as it is in S1). Okay, really I just want to know your pony tier list, if such a thing exists. As someone who defected from their username for one empathetic to ponies, you're almost (but not actually) required to acknowledge this post.

You're playing poker with a tiger, a moose, a hedgehog, a toad, and a pony. You're holding 9d Jd and the flop is 6h Js 5d. The tiger is looking pretty aggressive and a bit sly, while thrashing its tail round a little bit, grinning, and simply checks. The moose is looking a little scared of the tiger, starts moving its chips towards the pot but rapidly takes them back and also checks. The hedgehog already folded preflop. The toad is asleep and automatically disqualified from the hand. The pony is showing absolutely no emotion or expression at all, and seems to be taking no notice of what is happening around itself, but then it slowly goes all-in for about 1.25 times the pot. Do you fold, call, raise, or run screaming?

OK, gonna address all your points before answering your question. Rarity is an amazing pony, I love the episodes she's in that revolve around her and I've loved her character development. Rainbow Dash is just awesome lol. You either like her or hate her, I guess that's her style ha.

Why Fluttershy? She was just the character that I was hooked to initially when I first watched the show. She was this cute, quiet character and she almost instantly became my favourite. I can also relate to her aswell considering how shy and socially awkward and introvert I am, so there was that added benefit. But no, I love Fluttershy as a character and I love her episodes. Also, about her shyness, that is slowly depleting as the series goes on and it's not that noticeable in the recent series and episodes.

And my pony-tier list. This is something that I've pretty much stuck with for a while and I haven't seen a reason to change recently.

1. Fluttershy
2. Rainbow Dash
3. Rarity
4. Applejack
5. Twilight
6. Pinkie Pie

This doesn't mean I dislike Pinkie Pie, she's just worst of an amazing bunch in my opinion. But yeah, this is my list! XD

Well I'm all about the big plays, so I'd probably raise. Running away isn't necessarily an option unless the tiger suddenly goes out of control and starts becoming aggressive and threatening to my health. I'd fold if I thought I was in the shit and I'm not exactly. I mean this is a strange but mentally testing question. But my final answer would be to fold probably as with a 3 of a kind my only possible winning outcome, it wouldn't be worth risking especially against someone who's going all in despite his deteriorating state.

Well, I'm not all that bothered, but my old username also has a '1234' on the end of it. I signed up to FFR as DanMeister1234 which I didn't include in the thread title, but still that's cool I guess lol.

Unlikely. I would like it to happen but it won't. The site as a whole is dying, there is very little interest in it, there's not as many new members who become regulars as there used to be; a lot of old members are leaving forever (I am potentially gonna be one of them). On the thread I made a while back suggesting a UK meet-up, I got very little feedback and very few responses from people which inturn made me think that a meet-up is unlikely. And only a few people responded and most of them were pessimistic about it aswell. The most likely location would have to be somewhere convenient and at least worth visiting (London, Birmingham, Glasgow etc, a big city or at least somewhere fun)

I'd rather have Option 2 if any and I'd hate to have Option 1 as there's a chance that the stuff could become undone and fall on me ... and that would hurt lol.

You kidding me? All 92% of people from the UK who don't live in Scotland would find Glasgow far too much hassle to get to, and Birmingham is the 2nd most boring place in the entire Milky Way Galaxy (only behind the Lake District).

I just named places that came to my head immediately. I know Birmingham's a big city that's all. It probably is boring. And the reason I said Glasgow was because I know a few Scottish users on this site that replied to my thread. A meet-up isn't gonna happen anyway so who cares

Since when? You can get a train or a plane directly there. I could buy a flight to Glasgow right now and be there for just after 20:00 tonight and I live across the water from it.

And that's all I really came in to talk about. The whole My Little Pony obsession thing isn't for me. I can accept liking whatever you want but the way it has engendered such strange infatuations is beyond me. I appreciate that's not your entire personality but the name, signature and picture pretty much scream that it's a major part of you and so I'm out.

But, hey, as logical thinking adults we should try to embark on an expedition of understanding before we draw such conclusions resolutely.

Having said that, and this is an Ask Me Anything... please explain the whole Bronie thing. I mean, I get why the young'uns dig it but the adult obsession with it completely eludes any logical line of thinking I've come across.

I understand that the show sends a message of positivity and friendship and, you know, good values and such but there are so many outlets already for that. Why MLP?

True, but for an FFR meetup!? I wouldn't spend hundreds of pounds + a few hours on a train or plane ticket from London to Glasgow just to meet a bunch of random internet strangers. Unless Glasgow has exciting stuff in it, which I haven't heard about.
