    Anime Inquiry

    Does anyone know of an anime where the main character is constantly bored, and he or she tries to find ways to cure his or her boredom? I would like this to be either the main plot of the anime or a major subplot. Thank you in advance.

          the plot seems vaguely familiar to me but I can't put my finger on any that follow that exact guideline.

          the Slice of Life genre usually follows the same principle though.

              Thank you, but that anime is more about finding how to function in normal society than curing boredom. From what I saw, the main character isn't bored that often. Thank you for the suggestion though.

                      oh. I guess Death Note counts, I mean it's horribly over rated and such. But anyway, the main character is bored with his normal life and finds a note book that can kill people. I thought I'd point it out since that's what was on the tip of my tongue.

                          I don't even know that much anime that's like what you mentioned actually lol. In fact the only show (animation/cartoon) that I know that has a similar storyline is Phineas and Ferb lol

                              I don't mean where someone is bored now and then and does interesting hobbies once in awhile. I mean a scenario similar to someone who has been severely depressed and hasn't found anything interesting to do for years.
