20th Century Music Pack
[insert pack banner here]if someone would be a doll
Intro
So I had the bright idea of introducing a themed pack idea, but had no real premise. I came across the idea of hosting packs for each decade, so 60's, 70's, etc. But then I thought the idea was too narrow, so alas, the pre-2000's aka 20th Century Music Pack was born.
Rules
space
- Any type of file flies with this pack; Keyboard (spread/index), Pad, Solo etc.
- space
- Songs need to originate in the 20th Century, so anything from 1900 - 1999 is acceptable.
- space
- Both unreleased and released files are acceptable, but take note that released files will receive different judgement than unreleased files, meaning it'll be more stricter, and at my discretion I will decide if it fits the pack. I will not accept changes to already released files since that seems redundant, since people would be posting scores for different files. Unreleased on the contrary will receive normal judgement and critiqued until the file is within acceptable parameters.
- space
- Graphics are highly encouraged, as I really wouldn't want to create stress with a graphics crew. I highly recommend talking to them individually, but if all else fails, I will try my best to ensure every file has a decent set of graphics (I don't even have a pack banner so gfl lol).
Submission Guidelines
space
- Send submissions to this email: 20thcenturymusicpack@gmail.com
- space
- The subject line of the email should include the file name i.e. if the file was "Some Flashbulb From the 90's (somedude)" then the subject should be "Some Flashbulb From the 90's (somedude)". If sending multiple files at once, then just include your username in the subject line. This will help keep everything organized on my end, and I would really appreciate it if everyone followed this guideline.
- space
- All received, judged, and accepted files will be noted in the next post
- space
- I will do my best to update the File OP in a timely fashion, of course you can bother the hell out of me if it's not done.
- space
- Submissions can have any numbers of charts you'd like, but if say your file is on the harder end of the spectrum, and it's a fairly popular song, I will have to ask you step an easier chart, or at least delegate someone to do so. I understand this is discretionary, so I won't hold this to you as this is my own-doing.
- space
- There are no length restrictions, but please no marathon files. I will only accept a marathon file if it offers something to the player i.e. stamina practice, a really good song, or just overall fun steps.
- space
- I really have no idea how many files I would like to have, or how long submissions will be open, but I will make sure everyone is updated properly.
Other Things
This is a rather liberal pack, I'm just about willing to accept anything as long as it's playable and offers decent replay value. Collabs are also highly encouraged. If you need any suggestions for songs to step, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm sure I, or anyone else, can point you in the right direction for music to find, it's a broad enough area that you can find a song to step.
Happy Stepping!
