Transitioning from FL Studio to Ableton Live

So, I've recently been trying to transition into using Ableton Live 8 (can't use 9 cause my computer sucks).

Is there anyone who can help me understand Live 8, cause I'd like to be able to use it as well as FL, as well be able to help whoever joins my team and uses Live.

Manuals aren't usually helpful, so I sure hope this one is. I'll definitely be reading that like a text book.

The Ableton one is. They also offer a more user oriented tutorial book.
