    We're The Millers

    So for those of you who haven't seen the previews for this (like me) I think it's just like a slapstick "Due Date" style crude comedy.

    The reason I'm making this thread at all is because Warner Bro's sent my family free Pre-showing tickets to the movie because our last name is Miller.

    Should I utilize these tickets or just give them away? Trailer judgments?

      That was my impression of the little synopsis contained in the letter from Warner.

      On a separate note, what did you think of Pacific Rim? I've seen it twice now and it's still just "good" in my opinion. My friend went nuts over it though. Saw it 5 times in 4 days.

          Yeah people flipped shit at the movie theater i work at over Pacific Rim, haven't seen as good as reviews for a movie at the theater since like Django Unchained

          As for the Millers, doesn't stick out to me a lot, feel like i've seen it a million times already haha

              Pacific Rim would be the perfect movie if I was into action movies like that and if there weren't like, 4 things that could undo the entire movie.

                  Agreed. I really liked this movie too, but I couldn't watch it 5 times in 4 days... I really like it cause I'm really into giant monster and sci-fi movies, so I thought the Kaiju's were pretty cool. And their homeworld reminded me of Phaaze from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption heh. I'll definitely buy it when it comes out on blu-ray.

                  As for the Millers, it looks kinda meh. I'm not normally into comedy movies for the most part, cause I'm more into sci-fi, horror, and action but I'll be open to watch a comedy movie if someone wants me to go with them. But you should use those tickets since how many chances like this will come by?

                      My big thing about Pacific Rim was the detail in the animation on the Kaijus. Those monsters (dinosaurs?) are so unrealistic and ridiculous that it would be stupid hard to make them seem natural as they destroy cities and whatnot but the animation team did a FANTASTIC job with them. I was quite impressed.

                                      I saw it and was entertained enough to see it through.
                                      Better than freaking Pitch Perfect which will be the death of me if my girlfriend makes me watch it one more time.

                                              Pitch Perfect was really cool the first time.
                                              But then I had to see it several more times. And then it became popular. And everyone that thinks they are even remotely talented at singing (they aren't) feels like they now have an excuse to belt every song in the movie because it's a capella and they can do it too.

                                              Pitch Perfect once: sure.
                                              But don't make me live in a Pitch Perfect world or I'm liable to end it all.
