    Bananas (TrapHop)

    https://soundcloud.com/nmilla/bananas-preview

This is the first time I've tried something like this, and it was really fun to make because I was able to explore parts of sound design that I don't usually venture in.

    Yay? Nay?

this is idiotic, but I gleefully clicked the thread thinking it'd be exactly the same thing.

The bassline that starts at 0.47 in this song is awesome, it complements the blip blop shit perfectly and fills everything out. The blip stuff doesn't work super well on its own imo. also when you introduce wubs into the mix I can't help but feel like you're going completely in the wrong direction, but I'm not a very good judge when it comes to genres like this. either way, needs more derp imo, not more wubs.

        Whoa
I actually really like this, experimental and fun, well mixed, might be one of my favorites from you

Got a bit of a laid back Reso feel to it

That's interesting because Check 1, 2 was the song that gave me inspiration to make music today. I'm going to change a couple things up for sure. I'm not going to drop my heavier bass synths but I completely agree with Stone, they do sound a little out of place. I'm going to make an effort to have it blend better.

I like this song, but if I may suggest, in the beginning, add something on the offbeats to fill in the silence. Personally, I would use a dirty, grimey noise lasting the whole beat. ^.^
