    Does anyone for the love of god know where I can get Pop'n Character sprites/images

    so another one of my silly projects, writing a character system were you can create a character/character.ini file in your simfile so you can basicly have different characters per simfile
    works for all gametypes in case you are wondering

    I'm still working on it but the main code is done, here have some source~

    anyway's now my question is WERE IN GODS NAME CAN I GET SOME DANG CHARACTER SPRITES, like really, writing a system but no characters welp

      As Long Gone he knows of a program where it directly rips the sprites from popn 18.

          The only thing I can think of:

          Start with the pop'n music gateway: http://www.konami.jp/bemani/popn/arcade.html

          Each game has its own site with a "Music & Characters" section. In that section are songs from that game, and each song has its own page with its respective pop'n music character. The newer games tend to have animations.

          For example: http://www.konami.jp/bemani/popn/mus.../02/02_02.html

          This one's an animated image, but unfortunately the animation is running through Flash, so it's not really a .gif. I'm sure it could be made into a .gif somehow.

              ty bmah but those flashes only show like 1 of the animations a character has, and there are about 6 per character so I cant really make a character with just 1 animation sadly :<

                  Yeah in that case maybe the other sequences can be extracted from the pop'n music simulator that I see people play sometimes. I'm not familiar with that though (but perhaps LongGone is, as mentioned above).

                      I tried to rip pop'n portable but you prob know what BEMANI games are like if you tried yourself before, DAT ENCRYPTION D:
