My average rank differs from game engine

    My average rank differs from game engine

    I noticed that my average rank score always reads a little bit higher in the FFR game engine. If I read my average rank score on my stats page it is lower.
    Is this possibly a miscommunication between the game engine server and the server stats page???? I find it misleading and confusing. If anyone can offer me help on this topic I would greatly appreciate your thoughts or solutions.
    This also occurs in the velocity engine as well. I prefer to play the velocity game engine server but the same bug I described above still exists.

    So here is what my average rank reads from each game server. I assume the Nick1983's stats page is the one that is right and the other two got it wrong.

    FFR Average Rank: 8,146 ( Nick1983's stats page )
    FFR Average Rank: 8,158.9622 ( Velocity Game Engine Server )
    FFR Average Rank: 8158.97579425113 ( FFR Default Game Engine )

      Usually the game engine updates your average rank automatically, where as you must view your levelranks to manually update the average rank displayed on your profile. Refresh your levelranks and then reopen the FFR engine.

          Plus I think the engine avrank takes token songs into account.

              ok. thanks PrawnSkunk. i will try that method. maybe it will work for me then.

              makes sense Guest15937. didn't think about that possibility.

              PrawnSkunk. I did what you suggested but still the same. I closed out of the engine. The velocity engine because it is my preference to use it instead. I manually updated my levelranks by refreshing the information. still the same. average rank is 8,144 for levelranks. but 8,156 is shown for velocity engine. same shown for FFR game engine. never used to be like this. i just noticed this within like the last few months but since it always showed the same results which differed from the levelranks and both game engines i got suspicious. so that is why i am convinced it could be a bug.

                  His average rank would be 7,486 if token songs were taken into account, so I don't think that's that.

                      If it has nothing to do with tokens I'm betting it's most likely a bug.
                      Same thing is happening to me, profile says 10,001 while Legacy is saying 10,017.
