It's french house, you can't expect anything else than heavily sampled and streamlined music. At least, even though you might not prefer this type of music, everyone can agree that quality-wise, Daft Punk has been releasing some gorgeous tracks. I mean, even though I love multidirectional arrangements, I find Daft Punk's music to be strangely captivating for their central use of repetition.

At least I hope they won't be trying too hard. Their attempt at film scores with Tron: Legacy was kind of a letdown in the sense that it was a weak listening without its visual counterpart. It's been a while since we did not hear some original tracks, but according to the sample they seem to stick to their roots. Which is fine since you can't experiment very far with such a limited genre.

Can't wait, groovin to some Discovery right now fresh as ever. The sounds from the new album so far keep that up, which I'm really excited for. Smooth grooves and light like a can of sprite.
