    Paperman - New Disney short

    I had to share this with the rest of FFR. Disney finally released Paperman, a short that's been in the making for a while now. It uses a combination of techniques, both hand-drawn and computer-generated. The result is this lovely animation short:



    Very few animations have made me smile like this one did. I had a big smile on my face the entire time. Really awesome animation, both story-wise and animation-wise.

              paper airplanes are recyclable yeah

              but on a serious note, what do you consider recycled?

                  Ohaider, I'm not sure if you're mistaking the style of animation for that cell shaded, auto-cartoonified renderings (borderlands type style). This is much different to have those dynamic traditional textures painted in to adhere to the artist's ideas. If that's what you mean.

                  I loved this short, was very impactful and moving, and the style was fantastic.

                              Saw this when I went to see Wreck-It Ralph. I thought it was pretty amazing, as well.

                                  I seen this when I saw Wreck-It Ralph. It's probably my favorite short that they made. I really enjoyed it but the people sitting behind me were the type of people who comment on EVERY little thing so that was kind of annoying... I wanted to say "JUST SHUT UP AND ENJOY THIS AMAZING SHORT!" but I didn't. Disney should make a movie with this type of animation. It was really well done!

                                      seen it in theaters three times along with Wreck-it Ralph. I honestly tear up every time lol, amazing short. and yes the animation's awesome

                                                  oh nonono, i mean some of the ideas were recycled (i.e. the dancing paper paper airplanes) but i still loved the video
