La lune du minuit éternel (VRC6 cover)

This is my first attempt at doing anything legit in famitracker. this is hard.

If you used that title in English that would sound like a Touhou song. Good idea to put it in French. xD

      And damn that's amazing!
Forgot where I put my old sig lol

Yo, what made you pick up famitracker? I've been thinking about grabbing famitracker and messing around in it as well.

my husband said it was about time I learned

and if I can get good at it, the vrc6 expansion leaves fuckin 8 channels to work with. double what lsdj gives.

this is worse than the original imo :/
iirc the original had some hefty reverb on the lead which gave it a sort of ethereal feeling and that's completely missing here. i understand you can't use stuff like that in an nsf, but you probably should've at least made a second lead channel for fake delay and shit. also i dunno if the chord progression is exactly the same and it was just masked in the original but it sounds like there's some dissonance here and there. anyway first attempt etc etc I understand ;p

ps you guys should check out N106 instead of VRC6. stereo sound and like 10 channels or something crazy like that. I dunno if famitracker supports it yet but it's hella tite

edit: the famitracker beta has n106 support. it's probably not in the official release yet, but there you have it. maybe it's time for you guys to drop vrc6? ;>

yeah if you think it's worth the trade. easily the thickest, deepest sound, but only 3 channels.

                (it's worth it lmao bye)
