    Muddy Basslines

    Is not completely what this thread is about.

    This is a track I'm also working on, and after the drop my melody takes the bassline to a D. Now for those of you who produce, you know that between like A# and D (ascending) it is much harder to make a bass synth either bass-y, or not muddy. I'm afraid that my bass synths become too muddy when I drop to the D. Do you agree, and if so, do you have any ideas on what to do to solve le problem? Thanks.

      I swear man, the only thing keeping you from going big is patience. If you were to wait and not release WIPs, but rather just release a full album after 4 or 5 months (and maybe get someone on Newgrounds(?) to do some artwork for you), you'd go big as hell. People eat that shit up

      Edit: Oh yeah man and don't forget to share that shit all over if you do make an extended play/album. Youtube sees more crowds than anywhere else

          shocked milla isnt big yet either... start hitting up labels like monstercat and get some releases out there, you'll have no problem getting tracks on netlabels like these

          then make an official youtube account, add videos, link to releases... profit!

                  PS: You and milla are the most likely from what I see here posted to get "out there" and make profit from your tracks. They are very well produced and are easy to consume(?).
                  What I'm trying to say is, well-made electro and dubstep (milla), and downtempo, trip-hop (ohaider) will always find a market unlike my experimental half-assed breakcore shenanigans haha
                  So yeah, keep that shit up and make daddy CBR proud by proving me right and getting more releases out there and making some profit from your tunes.

                              I just saw these posts, and thanks! That's a very big compliment.

                              I know I have a problem not finishing what I start. Every time I make a preview, I upload it to soundcloud and say "I'm done working on that for today" but every time I click on FL studio, instead of working on said tracks I just start a new one, which I end up liking better than the previous.

                              However, there might be a chance for some labels to release some of my tracks, so I'm going to have to start finishing music anyways.

                              All aside, I'm glad you guys enjoy what i'm working on right now, hopefully you'll hear some finished tracks soon!
