    New Years Track by DJ Sapphire

    Happy New Years everybody! Although it's late, it still counts.

    I made a track using more of the same stuff I never do because that's how I roll. I hope you guys like this new track, although it'll end up getting fixed up with vocals if anyone decides to be my vocalist. You can have a shot if you'd like, just let me know!

      you're getting a lot better! not a fan of that bass at all though, sounds like it's slightly flat and it's just generally not a good voice

      i'm a fan of the composition, though. your songs are really taking a form now

          should try working on not only melodies, but making sure the notes correspond to the proper key you're writing in. I find a lot of background melodies/leads are really dissonant

              @Kommi, I actually thought I fixed it to be in proper key but I guess I forgot to resave as .mp3 afterwords, oops.

              @Infinity, Thanks! I'm trying harder to actually make something of my sounds but it is kinda hard. I've only been working at this for a year so I don't know too many techniques. The bass is just a wav though so I couldn't add more depth. My computer is really bad and can't handle too many things so most of the dubstep sounds you hear are WAVs with a little bit of EQ and effect on them. I plan on really trying more things when I upgrade the workstation and get maybe a second monitor. I'm just working with really bad things at the moment so I'd instantly crashed if I did stuff that say, Skrillex does. (inb4 "Skrillex isn't a good example", inb4 "he just uses missingno")
