TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament

It's been a while since I've run a tournament on my own. My previously run Halloween tournament was highly successful despite a few mishaps, and I intend on providing you guys an even better experience. With that being said, welcome to my Christmas tournament! Details about the event are relatively similar to the Halloween tournament, but I encourage everyone to read the details, as things have changed slightly.

Scoring and Eliminations/Details
This tournament will be scored using FFR's raw scoring system, and will be played on the official FFR engine. For those of you who are new to tournaments, this is the score on the bottom of your game screen while you're in a song - it is also your score before any bonuses are factored in.

This tourmament will consist of six rounds, starting at minimal difficulty for each division and gradienting upward as the tournament progresses. At the end of every round, eliminations will occur (barring divisions less than 7 people). Those who do not submit for a round will receive a score of negative infinity on their song. If multiple people have a score for negative infinity on any round, they will be placed into a random number generator to determine eliminations.

Divisions
This will be a 5 division tournament, without A/B flights. This is done to achieve larger divisions while getting those in the bottom of each division a chance to fight due to higher density within divisions. I will be basing decisions off of individual level ranks, recent gameplays, and off of everybody in the tournament as a group. Do not discuss incorrect divisional placements in the thread. Instead, private message me on FFR, or send me a message via Skype at debit13.

Rules/Information
Sign-ups will be open until December 17th, 11:59 PM server time. The tournament will begin on December 18th, at 12:00 AM server time. Rounds will be three days long unless noted otherwise.

1.) You must have a minimum of 250 games on your FFR account, spanning over at least 75 fully played songs, with an account age of at least 0.1 years. This is not only to ensure that alternate accounts don't raid the tournament, but also to ensure that I can make a proper placement based off of your level ranks. SIGN UP WITH YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT, or tell me the name of your main account if you're signing up on a less known account. I will contact a moderator if I think you're sharing an IP address of a well known account. If you enter using an alternate account without making a mention of it, you will be removed and will not be allowed in under any account.

2.) NO CHEATING. If at any point in the tournament I feel like you have used/abused any loophole, exploited any particular rule, played on someone else's account/had someone else play on your account, or have used other means to increase your scores, I will contact the appropriate staff to verify your gameplays. I reserve the right to request video proof for any user at any time.

3.) Be respectful to all other competitors in this tournament. Arguments will NOT be tolerated, and can result in immediate removal in the tournament. An infractions system will be used to ensure that the tournament does not go out of hand.

[NEW] 4.) If you fail to submit for a prize round while still in the tournament, you will not receive your prize, and your prize will be passed down to the next place down! Top 5 in every division receive a prize.

Infractions:
A blue name means you have not been handed any infractions (equal to zero points).
A green name means you have been handed a minor infraction (equal to one point).
An orange name means you have been handed a moderate infraction, or two minor infractions (equal to two points).
A red name means you have been handed three minor infractions, a minor infraction and a moderate infraction, or a severe infraction (equal to three points).

Three infraction points during the span of the tournament will result in immediate removal from the tournament, no exceptions. If you continue to harass the tournament thread, a moderator/administrator will be notified.

Examples of point values:
- 1 point: overly aggressive complaining about song choice - dislike towards song choice is perfectly acceptable, but saying that a file is shit/garbage is rude to the person who created the notechart which went through a review process.
- 1 point: disregarding requests from the tournament host (me) to stop moderate complaints (i.e. complaints from multiple users past a single post).
- 1 point: complaining about/implying an incorrect divisional placement outside of private messages
- 2 points: trolling users/tournament host for scores/decisions involving the tournament; intentionally starting unrest within the tournament thread due to disagreements/song choices/etc.
- 3 points: flaming users/tournament host [etc.]

These are subject to change and will vary based on aggressiveness/severity of actions.

Submission Guidelines
Thanks to Velocity, you won't have to post a screenshot in this thread when you get your score. However, if the dashboard fails to record a score for you, post it in this thread and I will add your score to the dashboard manually.
