    Need for Speed World

I've been addicted to this game lately. It's a free to play game made by EA Games for PC. Think of Underground/Underground 2 online as a MMO.

Need for Speed™, one of the world’s bestselling video game franchises, returns with a vengeance in the new action-driving blockbuster Need for Speed Payback. Set in the underworld of Fortune Valley, you and your crew are reunited by a search for ve

It takes a little while to get it downloaded and installed, but the game is really fun. Anyone else on here play this?

      Re: Need for Speed World

The only problem I found with it like most online games is the community, and it takes a bit of time to get into. You always start with a Camaro ZL, and the amount of cars you can get are limited (you have to buy boost for them, think of Riot's RP system). There's still a huge library of cars you can buy as you level up. Here's a list.

And the community. The racers generally like to ram you, but I haven't played a racing game where that problem doesn't exist.

I'm lvl 49, quit playing because of the new skillpoint system and at least 60% of all available items costing real money

damn I don't know if I'll get around to trying this game out, but it sounds like the best idea ever. for years I've wondered why there haven't been MMO crossovers with other genres. once Mario Tennis World comes out (after it's conceived and then developed), I'll be the first to sign up.

I enjoyed the game until all my garage slots were full and I needed to buy boost in order to get more cars

Rammers exist everywhere, especially in high tier races since the cars are heavy as ****, but I often blamed it on the incomprehensible lag during races, so I moved to Team Escape events, which kept me playing the game for some time to the moment when I realized EA just wants money instead of a pleased community

Yeah, I don't like the game anymore, but I was enjoying it at the beginning as well (all the hype for finally getting a better car)

I can post some pictures of my cars later if anyone cares

after the trainwreck that SWToR was, EA can look for money and time elsewhere lol

I wouldn't mind seeing the cars. So far I'm entertained with the game, I'll probably come to your conclusion sooner or later since my frustration for the game is slowly building up

I can understand the complaints abuot everything being real money... It's pretty bullshitty. EA Games really stopped caring about their user base I think after the GC/Xbox era

                        Uploading my favourite cars

Tried to copy the (by now) classic rent-car-design of the old GT-R R34 on the GT-R "Godzilla" R35

I was so happy when I got this car back in 2011 (when it was still the best Tier 3 car)

Got this with a free-item-code that was distributed as a reward for all the players who brought up the "patience" to play with abnormal game problems a year ago

Rest of the cars were bought with ingame cash. Neons and Wheels I got as a reward from that card lottery thingy at the end of each race, and the garage slots I bought with real money (15€). The GT-R R35 I got with all the free boost codes that were given out plus the rest of the boost I got for the garage slots.
I always tried to not spend any money to the game otherwise..

                        Gud times gud times
