    Code tags.

Is it possible to automatically make code have word wrapping so it doesn't stretch the page a mile long across? It's been bugging me for a while now.

Wouldn't mind word wrapping. Kind of annoying having to scroll to the right / back to the left. So +1

The problem is, that depends how large your monitor resolution is. So what stretches for you won't for someone else and vica-versa.

Also, I'm not sure what you're using code tags for, but the intended purpose (at least where they get the name from and how they're used on other forums) is for programming language source code. And you can't simply word-wrap code. It would make the code itself invalid. So, no, code tags should not wrap. Source code must literally be displayed exactly as it is.

If you're using it for something other than source code you're probably using the wrong tag and/or perhaps they need a new tag for whatever it is you're using it for.

Maybe a new tag like [codewrap] for this purpose would be better?

I usually only use the [code] tags for really long bunches of text that should not be broken by having a space arbitrarily inserted in it. E.g. replay data.
