    Tambourin Chinois [9 or 10?]

    Reasons for lowering difficulty:

Song is relatively short at 1:09.
Song flows well for the most part, albeit a few tricky patterns.
Jumpstreams don't compare to 9s such as Destination Unknown.
    Stream patterns are slower then some 9s such as {Rose}
Bursts are incredibly simple, nowhere near the difficult of what the f is this or Luna Ascension. They barely surpass the difficulty of MegaScorcher.
The NPS graph is similar to 101 Kittens, a song that's a 9, but 3 times as long.

    Thoughts?
The above post has a 50% chance of being useless. Potentially. Maybe.

BEST AAAs: WANDERLUST, Pandora, Necropotence, Mourning The Lost, Eradication, Feldschlacht

It would be a bit more helpful if you elaborate on the specifics. e.g. what factors in the jumpstreams "don't compare" to other 9s? Anchors? Jumpstream density? What makes the bursts "incredibly simple"? etc.

I would consider tambourine a base 10. By that I mean the easiest 10

I nailed this supposed 10 long before I could get any other VCs AAA'd.
So I would be fine if it was moved.

But I also support the view that it's the baseline 10. It does require a bit of speed to hit the bursts (they can't really be cheated)
Until someone can give a better reason for it to be a 9 I'd support it staying as a 10.

I have a good handful of VCs AAA'ed and I'm not even close to getting this one (I've had 3 clean on it for the longest time.) The find that this file has a lot of rolls that end on a [14] jump in such a way that creates 23[14] or 32[14] pattern that's fast enough where you need a decent amount of speed but slow enough where it's easy to split the jump and mess up your PA. It seems like most people has an easier time with this file, but I'd still stick with it as a low 10.

I guess I'll vote 10 because of those stupid trills. The bursts can get annoying too.

Even though its short, I'd say a 10 souly (I dunno if I spelled that right :P ) based on that annoying trill and some of the other patterns as well.
              Everyday I'm shufflin'

New tournament hopefully coming up in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more details.

I find the trill transitions to be tricky. I can't AAA or even sometimes combo properly with those transitions.

                Low 10

I feel like its a low 10, but there are a lot of 9s harder than it too. Not sure how that should be resolved :/

Re: Tambourin Chinois [9 or 10?]

The trill may have a mildly tricky transition, but is that really 10-worthy? Teh Tricky Techno has more difficult trills then Tambourin Chinois.

The jumpstream is FAR less dense then many short 9s (Famouz, Yoshi's Cookie, Nyanyanyanya- whatever)

Bursts may not be easily cheated, but they are a lot more forgiving then the ones in what the f is this/Luna Ascension since they all flow well.
