I don't understand. I have never played Animal Crossing. >__>

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
Imagine the most replayable game in the world. A game that takes so long to "beat everything" that it could take you at least 3 or 4 years. Every day you load the game in, something new is happening, and there's new things to do.

Well you See Animal Crossing DS is a sandbox game.
You start by moving into a pretty crappy town and get to your house only to find out that some sneaky raccon called Nook wants you to pay alot for this house. Since you have no money you have to work for him and pay it off.
You start in a pretty average low class town as you scrounge for money to pay of debts other Animals will move in and you can either become great friends with them or great enemies and trust me they remember.
It is all based on your real life sceduale. You basicly want to build up your town and house to look the best there is.
I admit usually I don't love these type of games but damn it is the most addicting thing you will play ever. you will be reaching for your DS to play. And what adds to this is the online game 4 people can cruse around in your town or you can cruise in theirs. This makes things 10 times as better to play too.
I cant wait. =D The concept of Animal Crossing is just made so much better on the DS.
Perks!
1. Now that it's online, people can visit your town from anywhere, in their own homes. Awesome.
2. Now that it's portable, it seems much easier to play a little every day. If you have a little spare time during the day, you can just check in on your little town so easily. Awesome. (It must be a mental thing, but I'm much more likely to play a handheld system than a TV console if I don't have at least an hour to play...)
3. Er... small thing, but it's a little bit faster to type letters and such with the stylus than with a controller. Yay!
If I don't get this for Christmas, I'll likely be buying it soon after, so expect me online within a month. =D
One question, for those who have the game already: do animals still move out when you visit other towns? >_> That was something I really didn't like about visiting others on the GCN version. It was always my favorite animals who left. =(
