consider that it also depends on ur visual settings and note skin and stuff... i use higher speed but i also use smaller notes/receptors, so its not as fast as it'd normally be with default settings

for example hakulyte has an alt http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/hakue where he only uses speed mod x1 lol, and hes like D6 on it with 1377 AAAs, so it really depends on ur preference and settings (also he uses screen cut a tonnn when he 1x which sort of gives the effect of a higher speed)

I'm d6 level 90 and I play with 1.25-1.3 scroll speed.

I use a high screencut though so it's basically like hitting notes off reflex.

I use 2.8x, It kinda translated over from me using 26-28 on osu!mania to being the right scroll speed for me.

I seriously don't understand how people can play at stuff below 2 or even 2.2 especially at a high level, its literally just a screen filled with 100 notes 3 pixels apart

Anything goes once you memorize all the notes.

Back in the day there was no scroll speed, you had to get used to it or not play

Screencutting makes it wayyyyyyyyy more tolerable though.

Well, something weird happened, and now I can't see notes properly of how I used to play, around speed 3....

2.6x already seems really fast, and this came up from waking up one morning where I preferred slow speeds.... Has this like, happened to ANYONE?

I just started to play using 55 FPS (seems the most stable in my situation) and I go between 3x-3.5x depending on how I'm physically feeling. Last I played, I was using 3.1x.

Living off the devil's land by playing 60 fps

Also using 2.4x speed, though it is considered slow for most of the top players probably.

So far nothing unusual or any problems about playing around this level with these settings that would concern me

59 FPS at 2.5 scroll speed. whenever i set to 60 it lags a lot for some reason lol

Jk. 2.75 but I go back and fourth between 2.50 and 2.75. But lately I feel like it's been going by too slow so idk. I might have to mess around with something a bit higher

Back when Byron used to be a thing I think I played on around 2.7 or 2.6 or somethin around that; 100 FPS. I'm still angery they got rid of Byron version.

I used 2.45x 60 FPS now but I might change that back to 59-55 FPS like was said earlier.

In the VERY VERY early days, though, I'd play with 1.5x and 30 FPS so I'm super glad I started bumpin up the speed cuz omfg my old replays are unbearable.
