                Just preregistered for a weekend pass. I'm really hoping I can make it to this one.

                What rhythm games does this convention generally have?

                    Last year in the rhythm game section (at a hotel slightly off from the main convention, still need a pass for it), there were two ITG full cabs, and then a bunch of rhythm game clones being ran off people's computers and such (eg. LR2, kshootmania, whatever the pop'n clone is called, and a couple others).

                    I think the selection largely changes from year to year though!

                                I definitely would like to do that in addition to playing some SV3 charts.

                                On another note, I hope playing without shoes is accepted (I'm a socks player). If I have to play with shoes on I effectively downgrade 3 levels.

                                    You'll be fine with socks (since I play in socks every time lmao), although the pads are recessed and aren't countersunk so it hurts your feet.

                                            I got REALLY scared for a second. I just learned that for my masters I will have to attend a physics congress taking place on May 29 (the day right after AN ends).

                                            It just so happens, by pure luck, that this congress is a Queens university, literally <15 mins away from the highway Team Quebec uses to make it back home. So in a weird twist of fate, attending AN makes it easier for me to go to this congress lmao. Let's just hope the hangovers won't be too bad, because I'll be presenting my thesis work, gulp

                                                    If anyone from out of the Toronto area is coming into the Toronto area earlier than the 26th or leaving later than the 28th and wants to organize activities or hangouts for the days surrounding AN17, let me know! Same applies if you're in the Toronto area and just want to hang out a bit.
