Bought borderlands pre-sequel. I've heard it isn't as good and the DLC is lacking, but I'd like to play through it at least once for the story. $25 instead of $50 + $20 seems fine to me.

It would be fine if they just sold the game as is and said 'we're not discounting it', but to raise the price and then try to claim that it's '30% off' is a dick move.

It's the worst of the three in my opinion. I played through 1 and 2 co-op, then played the game of the year editions with all the DLC by myself (another 59 hours on 1 and 76 hours on 2 according to steam). After finishing the pre-sequel co-op, I had zero interest in getting the game of the year edition to play by myself.

Krieg alone makes Borderlands 2 GOTY the best of the three.

Haven't bought anything yet this sale and tbh the only thing that I would really, really want is for If My Heart Had Wings to go lower because that VN is literally never on sale. Will pick it up at 50% off though if it doesn't go any lower.

Also, it's insane how big of a difference your teammates make on the monster summer game. Day 1 our group got to like level 350, day 2 was around 175 or so, and today the group I'm in is sitting at around level 1,850 right now. Would be neat to crack 2k just for the profile badge.

10 am edit: They're at like level 2,750 now lmao.

Just noticed that Antichamber is there for £1.50 (~$2.50). To anyone who enjoys puzzle games, I'd highly recommend it. One of the best puzzle games I've played in recent years.

EDIT: And Deadly Premonition is only £2 (~$3). Sure it's a broken mess but I loved it. Probably the closest you'll ever get to playing Twin Peaks: The Video Game.

Just picked up The Talos Principle, excited to try it. Bought and devoured Portal 2; not that engaged by Antichamber yet, but it was like 2 bucks and still pretty interesting all things considered (about 30 minutes in).

                  Still waiting for spore lmao

Note to interested parties: you can probably skip Invisible War

Why? It's like one of the most disappointing games ever made.

I concur. It's an interesting concept but it drops off extremely in like... the third stage. If you wanna play what that game has to offer that's fun, there's a game called agario you might wanna look at OpieOP

                        Why are you here?

Yeah, the original and Human Revolution are both great games. I've never played the second but it's so cheap it wouldn't be that bad if you ended up disliking it.

I had £0.20 in my steam wallet so I picked up Morphopolis for £0.15. It's a calming mix of relaxing sounds, 'find this item' gameplay and not-too-difficult puzzles. I'll have it beat in an hour. It also has trading cards so I'll likely make my money back selling those.

I saw agar.io, it's cool. I've played Spore before, it was really shallow but somehow I still enjoyed the mind-numbingly easy gameplay set against its grand scope/vision. It's like one of those children's toys you find yourself idly fiddling around with while waiting at the dentist or something, plus a little bit of high-concept grandeur (esp. the space stage). If it comes down to like five bucks I'll pick it up~

Worms Armageddon is only $3.75 down from $20, I suggest some of you pick it up and we have an FFR worms party
