Well I mean more in a sense that I derive utility from it being fun to play the game and that is typically what makes it worth it.
But by now, playing FFR has long ceased to be fun, so it's literally only for the money at this point, which as you pointed out is not worth it at all.
See I pointed this out in Skype, my problem was caring about the tournament too much early on.
I needed to coast through the first few rounds before starting to try, that way I'd actually be motivated now.
People joke, but the way to win FFR tournaments really is to sandbag as long as you can.
I see that now, but unfortunately now I'm D6 so I've blown my chance.
(I don't think I'll ever care enough about Stepman to be able to sandbag D6 but who knows, maybe I'll have one more shot someday :P)
