                Well, my team has pretty much boiled down to Umbreon carrying everyone, and crobat spamming confuse ray and toxic.

                The two are very mean together, since unless someone is using a talonflame, crowbat has first move and umbreon has last since he just spams curse the first 3-4 turns.

                    Switched up some moves on my team and replaced MegaKangaskhan with Ninetails (Drought & Timid). Should be interesting to use haha~

                        Pull a strategy like me and use a grass type with Chlorophyl + Protect for maximum Solar Beam trolling

                            (Send out grass type, use protect so Chlorophyl can take effect, moving a usually slow Grass type into a first striker)

                                        When someone says they're giving away a Pokemon with a certain number of IVs, does that mean that those IVs are 31? Like with this example:

                                        Also, I never got past 1300 or so on Showdown. I was like "yes yes finally over 1200!" and a mod chimed in like "1700 is the new 1200" and I just shattered.

                                            Yeah, noting IV's like that should mean they're perfect.
                                            And I kinda feel you, I always start great with like 24-5 and then end up at 50-40 or something. Damn competitive shit how does it work.

                                                Pretty sure that means perfect IVs across except for speed. I really want to call bs on it though.

                                                You would have to grind IVs for a very long time in egg breeding to get those types of stats.

                                                    I hit 1200 cre in DPP UU on Shoddybattle, then PO came out and I just couldn't hit 1200 in any tier no matter what. (Got 1180 in BW OU using some other dude's team that went all the way to the top of the ladder, though.) Then my ego was totally shattered with the above incident.

                                                    I've sparked VICIOUS debates before over whether it's possible to gain rating through decay, because on PO you decay towards the average of 1000 whether you're higher or lower. Of course, people abandon alts as soon as they start to perform poorly, so they never experience this phenomenon. <<

                                                    And don't get me started about losing every time in the first round of a forum-signup tournament, 4 times by a score of 1-0.

                                                        Not hard, especially if the parents already have most or all of the IV's. Two parents with 5 IV's each, you can probably get the egg you want in 10 minutes.

                                                        My ego's hurt a little because I was pretty good in BWOU last year with a weather team. Nowadays everyone just complains about the weather wars of last gen.
                                                        Plus now I'm doing alright with a little bit of help from Baton Pass and everyone's complaining about that too.
