Really solid file. Personally my favorite of anything you've submitted so far by quite a wide margin. That being said there were some things we noticed that you could maybe clean up a bit.
I'm going to just copy some notes from the Skype group, you're free to agree or disagree on any of it.
at 19.366 and all repetitions of this part i probably wouldn't have used any single notes (jumps where the singles are, hands where the jumps are, etc.). to me, how easy these sections are doesn't really match the intensity of the song.

layering at 38.566 feels a bit off to me. hands are used here for the louder crash cymbal hits, but not consistently. i could understand if the layering was toned down a bit to reduce clutter and make it less awkward to play (although it honestly wouldn't make much of a difference, difficulty-wise), but that doesn't seem to be the case for most of the missing hands, like 44.416.

idk what was being layered at 67.366 specifically, because if it's the drums, there are a shitton of notes missing and it feels really weird/unsatisfying to play because of it.

          at 105.166 why aren't there 32nds? ):

at 105.766 i really think this section would benefit greatly from either miniholds or more hands to emphasize certain instruments that are being layered, because it's hard to tell exactly what's going on here and it lacks impact.

111.616 a jump (or hand or whatever) should be here on the 16th and not the following 4th note

On top of this during some of the grace note piano bits you have jumps leading into the grace notes somewhat awkwardly, I'd consider revisiting the patterns of those jumps just a little bit, this is hella minor though.

Song is good but your approach is really bizarre at best. Needs a complete rework pretty much, most of the file has really awkward bursts and really questionable layering choices. Felt like you didn't playtest it much.

(SonicX) Marisa wa Taihen na Kanbu de Tomatte Ikimashita - Rejected
No. Song is awful. Steps are even worse. Did you playtest this? Did you think that long 200 bpm jack was okay? Lol sorry man but this just wont do. 200 bpm jack ruins it alone, the rest of the file beyond that is either inaccurate or forgettable at best. Sorry man.

Fucking awesome file. I normally hate files that suffer from some baq12 syndrome issues but this doesn't take it to such extremes. This file might cause some frame drop issues on 3.95, but thats not your fault, non static bpm file by any stretch of the imagination and I looked in ddream just to be sure and its synced pretty much perfect. Good work.

(Yulanik) Star Girl and the Fantasy Cinema - Conditional
This file has uh...some problems. Consider this a pretty weak conditional, it needs a fair amount of work but I definitely see the potential here. Times are from ddream so if you use SM editor there might be a slight discrepency

          11.110s - This isn't accurate.
12.673s - Doubled bpm why? First note here probably shouldn't be a jump, and the other two are questionable as well.
          15.191s - Doesn't feel right.
25.533s - No need for the color theory when the preceding ones don't have it. Maybe use a minihold instead if you want to emphasize this one.
30.536 - Only going to mention this once but it occurs many times throughout the file. Putting color theory here only serves one purpose and thats to force stepmania into non-chord-cohesion mode for a second. It's not effective and comes across as strange, keep an eye out for stuff like this.
34.981 - Jump here? The vocal is on the 8th on this beat. Check your layering.
          40.203 - Same
92.203 - Did you leave the drums out intentionally? Feels underlayered like you didn't hear them maybe.
92.536 (to 103.203) - Section here feels very underlayered compared to the rest of the file.
124.536 - Section here feels really really really wrong. Probably my biggest issue with the file. Listen carefully. Your layering choices don't really fit here very well and you leave out some really interesting high hat noises shortly after. I'd honestly consider revisiting this section from scratch almost.
156.536 - This doesn't really play very good, the 24ths are super hard to hear and don't feel consistently stepped. Check this section again.
Whole file has tons of other minor issues so yeah, take another look and see what you can find, pointing out every inconsistency would take a long time. Song is really cool though and I would love to see a fixed up version of this chart.

(HornyPig) Gacha Gacha Cute Figur@ mate - Accepted
Really solid chart. I don't know why you feel its overcharted, because you definitely left some sounds out that you could've included (what you did leave out was consistent and seemed like a style choice so I'm not going to point them out). I'll definitely take this. Only real complaint is that some of the hands leading into the 16ths can be awkward but I think that was mostly me being bad at Stepmania and not really a fault of the chart.
Oh and your chart will be moved to oni or heavy, it wasn't loading on 3.95 for some of us because it only had an edit chart.

Wow, I'm actually really happy to see this comment, no joke. (I liked Suwa more to be fair though. That file is a beast and am proud I said fuck my own principles that one time. I'd still be interested in seeing a AAA on it. )

The singles are mostly for two reasons:

                  1. I tend to not jump the hi-hat, and most of the crashes are hands based on intensity. (because sometimes layering techniques are dumb.)

                  2. It's meant to give you a sense that you're doing the guitar + snares / pedals, truth be told this is an extremely common practice for me to do this because of consistency. I don't want to force all the jumps later due to the same sounds. That said, I've tried to emulate the crashes by doing an 8th note jump chain. It gives you a sort of Rockband / GH feel to it, while still being really flow driven.

layering at 38.566 feels a bit off to me. hands are used here for the louder crash cymbal hits, but not consistently. i could understand if the layering was toned down a bit to reduce clutter and make it less awkward to play (although it honestly wouldn't make much of a difference, difficulty-wise), but that doesn't seem to be the case for most of the missing hands, like 44.416.

I debated using jumps on the single notes here. Still kind of curious if that seems like a better choice. As to those hands, uh, um, I don't know. Time to sulk a bit and fix it. XD

idk what was being layered at 67.366 specifically, because if it's the drums, there are a shitton of notes missing and it feels really weird/unsatisfying to play because of it.

That might be because I dropped the hold gimmick I was using for the vocals. @ 60.000 or so it starts as violin + vocals as jumps and then it progresses @67.353 it changes with that hand, and now that I look at it you're right. There are jumps to the vocals as well as certain drum hits and I missed a deal of them. Shit.

                  at 105.166 why aren't there 32nds? ):

Goddamn it. I fight with myself back and forth on sounds like this. It sounds like 24ths in my head. Will fix this one for sure.

at 105.766 i really think this section would benefit greatly from either miniholds or more hands to emphasize certain instruments that are being layered, because it's hard to tell exactly what's going on here and it lacks impact.

I agree, and if you have any really good suggestions I'd love to hear them. I kinda played this file super safe and am at a total loss. I mean crap I could easily have gone grace ham on the piano, which is what I'd normally do.

111.616 a jump (or hand or whatever) should be here on the 16th and not the following 4th note

                  Goddamn it.

I tried to be a bit of a PR nazi for this. I'll for sure retouch on it.
Also sorry if anything in that sounds a bit crude, I'm terrible at this kinda stuff.

Going to try to do reviews tomorrow night. Hopefully enough people will be around to help but if people aren't here because of Easter or whatnot the reviews will get pushed to Tuesday.
edit: I will also update the song list after tomorrows batch.
