Just want to point out that you became part of the stepmania community during nuclear blast packs, so it's really not surprising that you don't enjoy files that are so much better.

only CKMP 1 and 2 were official; the others just kinda took the name. ~the more you know~

also I personally found that the simfiles got progressively tougher in the VGMP series.

The overall difficulty is whatever gets stepped and gets accepted. If it's good, it's good, regardless of how hard. So definitely expect a mix!
