This thread has a lot of fighting in it... and a lot of oversimplified political talk.
Also, I think it's worth pointing out that the United States is not extreme liberal nor extreme conservative. We are quite centrist when it comes down to it. What I hear is that both parties is to blame, but personally I think the ones who started it should end it because this is screwing with everyone... not just the United States.
Are we just going to forget about the cluster**ck that is Obamacare and the fact that no one actually knows what all of the 26,000 pages(note: three freakin' zeroes) (again: 26,000 pages) of it all says/declares/changes? And it's not like the GOP is trying to "win" anything; they just want it delayed because the timing is bad (Like the fact that our economy sucks, and right now no one knows enough about the damn bill). Congress has admitted that they don't understand how it would work in practice; why on earth would anyone in their right mind want to ok, pass and fund that?
I'm not trying to say GOP did the best plan when it came to fighting this, but you are foolish to support a bill that claims to say something as simple as "Everyone get this set quality of insurance,[ plus some labor laws ]" when it is so freakin' big. Just what are they trying to sneak in this shit?

What happens when Congress refuses to accept a decision that’s already been made? Well, they avoid talking about the issues like rational human beings, throw their toys out of their play pen, and stop working. Politics is awesome! As always, we rely on “The Daily Show” to fix the nation’s problems. Watch as they take […]
