Er... Maybe it's just me but, I ALWAYS play with toes... I can't do it with me heels. It doesn't feel natural to me. :\ (That is, until I run out of stamina... Which is very fast.)

Trying to rag on Mad Matt's style of play is futile because any style of play that lets you hit arrows in the most efficient manner will become the dominant style, period. If the style is disliked, that's a fault of the game design and not the player.

I just wish DDR had anticipated this and made the arrows farther apart so that you can't bracket them or even heel-toe. Like, at least 5-8 inches more of distance to move from one arrow to the other.

Agreed. It way more fun to play this way. (as stated above in my last post.)

I feel like I should be able to contribute to this thread. I have been playing on my toes for this whole time, and sometimes it does suck. Here is a video of me playing 250 bpm on Ultramix 3.

Doing standard 16th streams can get fairly tiring. For instance, I am nearly dead by the end of Max 300 SMMM. However, I think the more exaggerated movements are much more fun to watch, especially during crossover songs like PSMO. I'll try to get a video up of me doing that in the future.

I think we all know who the real "king of toe" is though:

Nick (WinDEU) used to play on his toes all the time up until recently and he was able to pass 15s and what not. I feel like playing on toes wouldn't be as big of a factor with stamina songs as it would be for footspeed.
