The condition is any of his original compositions is fine. However, this excludes any collaboration made with other artists (unless you obtain their permission as well of course).

Details on permission here. He even makes a direct reference to Flash games/Stepmania-related uses. Also requests to link to his website, but this is a given on FFR.

I got partial permission from Grimblee (dubstep artist) to use any of the tracks from his free album released today:


I'll add the permission proof here in a second. If you guys want it badly enough I can go back and try to convince him for full permission, but this is a start.

Hi there! I'm KungFuFurby. I recall signing up quite a while back wanting to produce some Stepmania files, maybe with my own music, and perhaps submitting them. That never happened. I am known as Furby on VGMix, and I have been composing music since sometime around 2003-2004... at least that's when my first music was produced that was stored somewhere.

I'm here to let you know that if anyone wants to use any of my songs for Flash Flash Revolution, they have my full permission. I do have one request:

I happen to be missing a MP3 file on my end called Top Gear 2 Nitro Thunder. The remix was released just before VGMix went down in mid-Feburary 2006, and I have no idea what happened to the file on my computer. There is no download of this song available due to the fact that I don't have it (Freewebtown.com would have been the last possible place to find it, but the links are broken because Freewebtown.com is no longer free.). If any of you happen to have it, then I'd like to see it again... someone has used the song for Audiosurf, and I found that out through a random Google Search.

My work list for games are found in the forums at Stencyl (they're not quite complete, though...), and I have a topic on OLRemix that contains my archival material. I'd post the URLs, but I've been very inactive here, so thus I can't provide any links at the moment.

The only other material I might be missing on my end, not counting that one VGMix song, is that if you're looking for a song made mid-October 2007 to mid-August 2008, then unless I have the MP3 file on hand, it's most likely gone due to a hard drive crash. If you're looking for those (or some other song not listed on those three lists), all you have to do is ask and I'll check.

I do not have an official website at the moment (my last one was Freewebtown.com, and it was badly neglected past I believe 2007...), although perhaps that might change too...

The site has 2 songs by the rock band Children Of Bodom, but the band isn't listed on the OP anywhere. Anybody know the permission status of Children Of Bodom?

So I have an 8Bit music remix channel, the username on youtube is 8BitUzz

Whatever songs I have done which the site has permission to use by the creator, I am fine with you using my remixes to step and whatnot.

This was a very limited promotional permission during the age of Tasselfoot's widgets.
If I recall correctly we only have permission for those specific songs.

Got permission from DJ Mashiro to use her music for FFR (I plan to send a chart for Prismatic Lollipops into the next batch) =)

At first she thought she couldn't give permission for Prismatic Lollipops because it was for the game "Cytus" as seen in this screenshot:


But then I contacted the makers of Cytus about it and they said that only she can give permission for it as seen in this screenshot:


So I go back and let her know that she can give permission for that specific song and here it is:

Just looked into the list, there is a mix of .co and .ne... To fix this, just copy entire thing to clipboard, do a replace, and paste back to the post. It is going to remove lots of confusion...

And, link for -45 is gone. (redirects to muzie homepage)
