                By all means feel free to poke fun at the song, but please try to refrain from losing sight of the event's goal by creating a parody. Keep it tastefully within the boundaries of a "sing-along."

                    Suggestion: Split entry's from audio to video, and have 5 tokens for each so that people who can't record video aren't hindered prize-wise.

                        I feel that dividing entries into separate prize categories based upon choice of media would actually hurt the event.

                        I explicitly created the current prize structure to ensure that everyone had an exactly equal chance of winning a token, regardless of ability, presentation or choice of media. Participation is all I'm looking for, since I imagine publicly displaying ones' singing is a scary thing for the majority of us here. The prizes for Top 3 are there so (hopefully) not everyone will submit themselves screaming "HERE WE GOOOO" into their mic.

                                    i'm going to do another one with my mic volume turned down a bit. maybe it will sound better. anyone have any suggestions on token songs with easy to understand lyrics that isn't longer than like 4 minutes?

                                                            There are lyrics out there somewhere. I tried to sing it myself, but it takes a lot of practice to actually get it right enough to submit it.
