These tokens have been around for a while and they're getting easier every month, so why would they change it now?
It would just be unfair to those who have already unlocked said tokens.

The longer ago you unlocked those tokens the easier they were to unlock. I would say they only get harder to unlock as time goes on because the trend in the game tends to be introducing more OMFGWTFBBQ-difficulty level files. So knocking out a good portion of someone's progress to that (via removing legacy chart FCs from public ranks) doesn't balance out when half of the newer charts tend to be OMFGWTFBBQ-difficulty level and not nearly as many of the legacy charts were.

What? Songs are getting harder and harder with time, and we're getting more and more super-hard files (let's say 90+) much faster than we're getting more easy charts. If you unlocked HWG when it was released you were okay at FCing, but if you unlock it now, you're a fuccen god of it.

They are a challenge. The game is supposed to be a challenge. If you're complaining about what you can to take them out, go be a cry baby bitch elsewhere. People have fought through them, and have them AAA'd. Hell, even I did it, and I'm terrible at this game. Stop being ******s, and just play the damn game.

After AAAing all the legacy files (including Revolutionary Etude) I just felt like I wasted a lot of time playing poorly charted files with little music relevance at all.

The only reason to play legacy files is because they're affecting public ranks, lol. Otherwise I wouldn't be wasting time with files like Revo where the file itself is offsync and littered with a bunch of ghost notes and random jumps.

I agree with blindreper, the difficulty of the songs makes them worth keeping. The only suggestion I can make is to color the notes to match the rest of the songs, because blue iz bad.

imo keep the files the way they are. Keeps the historial aspect to this site.

I mean sure more experienced players pretty much make up the entire community as for right now, but my thoughts is to take these legacy songs as what they appear to be. Instead of challenging like a song with a lot of NPS it is challenging for a completely different and gay reason. I know this sounds terrible but songs like P4u are hard because of the video or other songs are just hard because they have terrible sync, but it hasn't stopped us from AAAing them. Even though I would have to agree that qqwref's idea sounds pretty smart.

although I agree that HWG is getting harder and harder to achieve. That unlock is my current goal, but oh well. Not sure if anything should be done about it though. the 50% one is still easy to do cuz there are enough songs almost without counting 9s.

To be perfectly honest, I never really thought about this. The only problem is that it wouldn't really make the files that much easier, as I'm looking at it.

Actually when you come to think about, maybe they should just keep the original steps but re-sync them to make them match the beats of the songs while also changing the color of some arrows.

As for the .swf files, not sure what's going on here. But I know one thing - too damn bright and needs to be taken care of as quickly as possible.
