as simple as it sounds this is really solid advice.
if your gf has self-confidence issues or insecurities that cause such toxic behaviors its better to move on unless she can fix these (hint: she probably cant)
that being said, i do wish you good luck with this current girl, sounds like a pain and i personally wouldnt want to deal with it hahaComment

The nickname's just a symbol. She's jealous of this girl and if it weren't the nickname it'd be something else b/w you and your ex that upsets her.
I've been jealous of platonic relationships, in fact I suspect I'd be more bothered by a really close friendship than a physical relationship, although I don't have that experience to fall back on. Different things bother different people.Comment

I dated a girl back in high school with serious self esteem issues so when I went off to college she constantly bitched at me and accused me of cheating on her every day (which I didn't I remained faithful).
