d4 and d6 got off easy this round

d1s file was cool/well stepped and appropriate
d2s file was again cool and stuff but seemed like a bit of a difficulty jump lol.
d3s file is causing a lot of trouble with dem jacks and stuff but cool.
d4s file was easy and will have super low cutoff.
for ppl saying a flower garden is easier than euro morroc, plz hang urself. jk but thats totally subjective, a flower garden is super technical while euro is just broken jumpstream lol, the jumptrill at the end is o_o tho....
and d6s file is lol easy, def not appropriate for use in d6 and all them crazy cats are just blazing through the file.

once again cool songs and charts tho hopefully the quality remains

Congrats to all of you guys who go farther in the tourney. I didn't really expect to make it past round two in all honesty xD But it was actually fun. I've been playing FFR on and off for a while and alloyus actually managed to convince me to participate in this tournament. It was really fun, quite a bit frustrating, and showed me I have the ability to improve from where I am. So good luck to the rest of you! (Sorry, pretty sure I just monologued.. Weird...)

Alright, I can't even play this ****ing bullshit (Insomnia) anymore, so my sightread which I haven't been able to beat after countless plays all week will have to be enough. I'm right next to the yellow line and if I get eliminated because of this shitty chart (in terms of annoying patterns, not necessarily a bad chart) I'm going to be ****ing pissed. Again. I think last time my elimination was at least justifiable, I just wasn't good enough, really. But it also wasn't in the second round, and when I can AAA the first round, nearly get eliminated the second round, and be likely to AAA the third round, it's just ridiculous and I don't deserve to be eliminated. I think this is mostly because the chart is so much easier for two-handed players, and maybe because the stress of it being a tournament song makes it impossible for me to beat my first try as usual. Yeah I'm no different than everyone else who doesn't want to be eliminated, but I want a better chance to show my actual level of skill. If my fingers let me, which they don't like to do when it's important.

Okay monthly rant/angrypost over, blah.

i play one handed, i only played the file like 8-9 times, and didn't think it was too biased. i played in the first tournament ffr ever had, lost in the 3rd round, but had better scores than people in the finals by 5+ goods. the round number doesnt matter, it's a holistic performance

This tournament never stated that it would leave a special place for one-handed playing. Typically, the harder files require two-handed playing, so if you don't even attempt to become proficient in that style, that's your own demise.

Everyone very well knows that one-handed playing isn't the standardized way of playing on FFR, and most charts on the game reflect that. Unlike other styles of playing that may simply be variations of preferences to key setups, one-handed playing truly is a handicap to playing harder files. It's one thing to play one-handed for your own purposes and not worry about scores as much as other players do. But when it comes to the tournament, you have to be the very best, and that means learning two-handed play.

Adapt or don't expect to get very far.
