I would absolutely hate if there was a combined version on ffr. I mean sure it's a great file, but I don't really have the attention span to play that long of a song.

I downloaded the stepfile for Stepmania... It's a great, but most people on FFR (specially newbs) wouldn't really sit through that for 17 minutes.

not sure FFR can handle 8.6 mil+ score now.

            fixed.

I bitched for months about it and nothing happened. I wish I wouldv'e known Tass wanted a 15 minute long file for the SOTY last year, I wouldn't have had to cut up this damn file.

They ruined the SOTY tradition. Even though we only had one SOTY before this...

EDIT: @Jim: Yeah, it can now. Synth fixed the game last year after the parts were released.

              Re: SotW: TGWP, ALL PARTS!

I just read for an hour and a half through this whole thread and already knew that such a long file (the whole parts 1-5 combined that is) wouldn't actually make it on FFR, even if it's been only 0.39 years that I've been here, as most of my friends don't feel like finishing a 6 minutes + song. Though I'd certainly be able to do it myself as my attention span is quite long.

Congratulations Rebirth0 for this great simfile and for your other additions. I still can't FC any of the tunes, even if quite a few say they are easy, jacks and back to back long term jumps aren't my milk and cookies. Your ''Max Forever'' is my endurance challenge as I always end up finger pooped at the end, and still haven't FCed it as I can't synchronize myself for the long arrow exchanges that happen throughout the file (repetitive left right and any other repetitive two arrow series).

As I said, I haven't been here for that long, but I've been quite active playing about, so eventually I'll FC your 5 parts....one day :P

                trills.
8th note trills to be exact.
which means that they're really easy to combo.
Except for the fact that I'm paranoid of trills now and I tap the 8th note trills like 16th trills and get a ****load of bad PA.

I hate this thread, it makes me feel old =|

Soldat this called a bump. The topic is dead and you havent offered any new thoughts so there is no need to post. Save it for a PM to rebirth like us fanboys do.

I still think the 17 minute version would be awesome on FFR. It could be a slightly late SOTY, there's still time.

Haha bad bump, but better than alainbryden's 7 month bump. God this thread makes me remember a lot of old song releases. BTW, there was a SOTY?!?! I sucked back then so I probably had no clue.

I only know of MAX Forever as a SotY.

We should get a 07 SotY, stat.

Nice bump guys, this song is not worth bumping, might be as you call it "godly" synced, but truly is poorly stepped.

I counted TGWP as the 2006 SOTY. And I'm not done with SOTY 2007. I don't see it as worth doing anymore, the way FFR has become
