Re: Are We Ever Going To Take Out FFR's Trash?
It looks like someone is sick with the "like" disease.
To the stepfile artists I insult in this topic, please don't take offense.
Today, in my legendary quest to improve my overall average, I came across some obstacles that revealed to me a lot of pent up anger that I never knew I had. I no longer have an "A" key on my keyboard. Why? I couldn't FC 100 Bar Blackout. Why? Because it is one of the worst songs/stepfiles ever made. I mean, the whole thing is filled with unnecessary jacks, and that's basically the bulk of the notes. The song is horrible and annoying to listen to, and combined with the stepfile, it just set me off.
So many songs in FFR are crap. Nobody has any reason to play them besides for improving their average. One off of the top of my head I can think of is Skellybones. One of the things that pops up over that ****ing annoying background while you're playing is "NOW FOR SOME OFFBEAT ARROWS." Who the **** puts that into a song? The song speeds up to some crazy speed and the arrows just appear at like random times. Synth, your psychadelic moving-shape backgrounds are annoying. And are those gallops or jumps? Who wants to listen to Seattle's Finest while enjoying a nice bunch of erratic arrows that don't go to anything. I do.
I think it's Nestlekiwk or Bemaniruler who have like 5 songs stepped where the BPM is just wrong. And Nestle, those songs you stepped in Rock are horrible, I hate them, and I never want to play them again. Most of your other files are good though, and your new files are fun.
I think we should either take out the crap that infests this game, the songs that nobody ever plays, or someone should re-step them using Stepmania, or something where the arrows actually like snap into place instead of look like they were manually placed on the chart (I hope this is in the right place, *pop*). It would take like 15 minutes to re-step each easy file, and the original stepfiler would keep their ownership of the file. It's just to fix them up, you know, since they were made like 5 years ago, and they might have been good then. Nobody is going to play them otherwise, or the new people that do play the songs are just taught bad PA.
It really would be quick and easy to fix, and would make the noobs happy too. The songs would be kept exactly the same, just.. not wrong.
Anyways yeah, I'm less angry now, I hope you (Synth/Nestle) aren't offended by my rant, but I really can't take any more of those files :$
