i remember i used to beleive that women were like these completely pure and angelic creautres that never thought anything wrong. that was in middle school. now im a juniour in high school, and i've found that women are just as, if not more perverted than men. then, when they finally do have sex, the man they suppose that is going to be with them for the rest of their life, even though they are both only freshmans, leaves her, she breaks down and loses her trust in men and finds them complete chuavanist pigs, when she wanted just as bad as he did.

a woman's hypocrisy seems to know no bounds.

thats why i make sure that if i ever do anything with a girl, i have her verbally ask for it, otherwise, i feel uncomfortable.

some things, like men's personal interests, (in my thoughts) are just best left up to instinct. If he dosen't like what you get him, then its best not to be with him

When I realize the majority of the people here are younger than myself, the replies to this thread make me want to fucking kill stuff. Damn it, GROW UP! It's this kind of moral decay that has caused the rate of depression and suicide to fucking skyrocket in our lifetimes.

If you honestly love the guy, and honestly want to be respected yourself, DO NOT DO ANYTHING SEXUAL.

As for what to get him, keep it simple. If he has any nerd interests, feed into those a little bit (deck of Magic cards, small gift card to a video game shop, latest book by a favored author, etc. etc.) If you really can't think of anything along those lines, can't go wrong with a candy bar wrapped in a Lincoln (or larger donation of money if you so prefer).

See, here's what I love. How amazingly hypocritical certain people are being. Arch, sorry to put it bluntly, but nobody finds true love in high school. It doesn't happen. I doubt anybody on these forums downward from Synth has ever experienced real love (and that includes me).

Then Larahl gets up there and talks about sex being the devil...I take it somebody's anti-choice. Beyond that, why would we regret it? Or more specifically, why would it 'ruin our lives' as you put it? Nothing bad can come of any activites that don't give you a chance to get her pregnant. The worst that can happen is you'll get in trouble or something. And then of course, he comes in and starts talking about moral decay (wtf?) and relating pleasure to sin, or whatever...I'm sick of it. The hypocrism is astounding, and radiating from the very people who accuse others of it.

I'm not saying I'm above all this...everything that's bad about guys that has been said probably applies to me as much as everyone else. I enjoy bj's as much as the next guy. The reason it bugs me is how high and mighty everyone else tries to seem, when in reality we're all thinking the same thing anyway, I'm the only one who actaully comes out with the guts to say it.

Please stop listening to what your parents told you or what you read off of some psych book or watched on TV. Yes, a good majority of relationships in highschool do not work out. Do you even bother to wonder why? It's because of the atmosphere. People often only go for certain people because of the way they look or how they dress, guys only go for girls with the idea of getting them into bed, and don't even get me started on peer pressure. This doesn't mean that relationships while at that age can't work, as I've seen them work. However, assuming HVAM and her boyfriend have a nice relationship, I don't know why just spending time together wouldn't be a bad gift.
