Members reported on The Post 14 Mathematics Enquiry which has identified the problems and is now
looking towards solutions. The learning of mathematics is distinctive in that some students have a natural
talent and are not challenged, others find it difficult and there is a band of average students. The
distribution of GCSE and ‘A’ Level results illustrate this. 30 percent do really well, and then the results drop
steeply. In other subjects the results show a bell shaped distribution. There is a <a href="https://en.writingapaper.net/">need writingapaper to write a paper for me</a> need to separate out
courses for gifted students and those who need additional help. This is very different to physics and most
other subjects.
