i'm gonna write 50 000 words on the life and times of ffr and the evolution of stepmania as well as its struggles to keep it alive, the downfall of smo, smg and rf, the rise of odi and tsuka's power level theory.
Post your plotlines hehe. I can't write about my experience at boot camp, since it's not coming naturally.
It's going to be about a American supercomputer that creates robots based on the needs of society. Unfortunatly, the supercomputer gets some sort of virus from one of the creators. It "learns" the meaning of evil, so to speak. I begins creating robots with special weapons, and starts a war with different countries. China, Japan, and Russia begin making their own robotic weapons, and the war that ensues almost destroys humanity. A group of the worlds most intelligent pacifists come up with an algorithm that negates the effects of the virus, and turns the American robot into a worldwide EMP that sends the world back into a Renaissance-type age.
You had better write this really well cause it sounds pretty dang cheesy. Of course, lots of stories have cheesy plots but are brilliant. Take everything by Vonnegut for instance.
@rzr YOU HAVEN'T READ HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE? **** YOU.

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis
Alright. Mind as well post my plotline. Still some things I need to think of in order to make it longer/engaging.
There's a boy named Michael Stutton who lives in London in (need to find a good year, but around the time when cars first started showing up in the area) He's just a normal boy by the age of 10 and his parents have a quite a bit of money, but aren't entirely rich. One day Michael goes on this walk to put a letter in the post office when he meets this big guy, almost giant-size, wearing a big overcoat that has pockets all over it. He always carries around this umbrella and wears the same tophat. Michael starts talking to the man, who's name is Harold (still debating the name)
After a while, the man asks what Michael has always wanted. Michael says he wants a puppy, and the man pulls a puppy right out of one of those pockets. Michael starts to wonder about the man, how did he do that? And he tries to think of why every time they walk back to their homes, he tells Michael to turn around and don't look back. Then one time he looks back and sees that Harold, while walking away, dissolves. He dissolves in the way a hill of sand would blow away in the wind.
Still trying to think of what to come next after that, but that's pretty much the basics. Any ideas?

It turns out he's actually a wizard. Give Harold a flying motorcycle. And let this Sutton character attend a school of witchcraft. Wizardry is optional.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
