Re: Deadly April Fools virus watch out!!!!!!!

Unplugging your internet and turning your comp off won't work. It's a worm...when you turn it back on it's just going to do it then anyway. Nothing positive will come out of turning it off except you're computer will be safe while it is off. If it ****s your **** up just reformat, and hope it got no personal information.

And TeRa...a computer virus can be deadly. It can just overclock your hardware so hard it dies =/

Re: Deadly April Fools virus watch out!!!!!!!

i was going to leave my computer off all day tommorow, but then i realized i have to write a paper. so it stays on, just not connected to the internet. but that's probably not going to do any good cause i'll have to reconnect eventually.

i plan to play a few more games, get a little bit enjoyment out of the internet tonight, one last time. it's been nice knowing you, everyone. may God be with you, and good luck on the eve of the Apocalypse.

Re: Deadly April Fools virus watch out!!!!!!!

Things like this make me laugh.

Does anyone else remember the events of Y2K?

Most people just read the news articles warning of "new" viruses but don't read it PROPERLY. I've seen that it was mostly made to hit LARGE CORPORATIONS. And people don't give it any thought at all later on.

http://www.calgaryherald.com/Technology/Computer+experts+remain+wary+conficker+virus/1455429/story.html

"Computer experts braced for the worst but saw little damage from the Conficker virus on Wednesday, the date the malicious worm was expected to evolve and potentially hijack millions of PCs the world over."

There is always going to some new huge virus that everyone has to prepare for. Keep your systems updated AND ACTUALLY SCAN your computer before going crazy on something that 'might' happen.
