Octavarium by Dream Theater. 24 minutes of guitary, hard-to-follow goodness. Just pure dynamite all around.

At the moment, though, I'm enamored by White Destiny from the Pretear game. Damn Ossa for making a file for the song.

This is actually a very difficult decision for me, wow. For me, it's a tie between:

            The New Zero - Rasputina
Down by the Water - PJ Harvey
            The Last Word - Voltaire
            Calling All Angels - Trains
The Kill - The Dresden Dolls
Til I Hit the Ground - Reel Big Fish
A Better Place, A Better Time - Streetlight Manifesto
            The Planets - Gustav Holst

I honestly can't decide between any of these.

Where Were You Last Night - Nightwish

                Basically, anything Nightwish....

                    Anthrax's Harm's Way.

                    Just something about this song.

And probably Third Eye Blind's Slow Motion, not the crappy solo thing but the unedited version.

You shouldn't talk down to people you don't know anything about, acting like you know more and then try to show them up in the forum. That's how you get absolutely no where.

It's hard to choose a favourite.
Anything by All that Remains, probably Chiron is my fave.

While those are both great songs The Dirt Whispered has a much faster beat to it which is why I like it so much.

The lyrics are also very meaningful too.

I guess I really don't have a favorite of all time, but my favorite right now is Paparazzi by Lady Gaga.

I know they're two separate songs, but it defeats the purpose to listen to one without the other.

Very, very difficult for me given that I go a mile a minute picking songs and playlists to suit each mood from my 12,000 song collection... it's hard enough trying to decide my favorite band. My two favorite bands are NIN and Depeche Mode, but I have so many other loves and likes it's hard to imagine picking a single song..

But in the interest of contributing to the thread, I'll go with Depeche Mode's song Dream On.

Darn, these threads are impossible to accurately answer >_>

I guess it is a tie between these:

Aoshi's theme (not it's actual name) - Rurouni Kenshin
                                                Grandpa's Violin - .hack//Liminality
Soredemo Utaitai - Full Moon Wo Saga****e

Currently though, I'm all about a bunch of Radiohead tracks (Karma Police, No Surprises, Go Slowly, Up On The Ladder), not to mention my two fave moby tracks (Temptation, and At Least We Tried).
