lol this thread is jus unnecessary ... lol ... ive put my fair share of thoughts into this thread ... but mainly at the posters in it ... no one will see this thread as a mutual state ... everyone here has there own opinion ... and because it conflicts with others we call them immature, ignorant, effed up, so on and so forth ... this video has made people think about life as a reality state ... not jus a living condition ... i agree that people have there own opinions ... and i am happy about that ... but what im not happy about is when those opinions effect others ... and thats all this thread is doing ... nyo had a statement about self defense and it being that guys fault for letting it happen ... i agree but disagree ... yes i agree because self defense goes along way and it can prevent death obviously ... however i disagree because this guy could have jus been walking down the street and these guys come out of an alley behind him and bash him in the head with oh lets say ... a trash can lid lol ... hes knocked out ... brought to the place where they killed him and guess what ... he wakes and he bashes his head in with a hammer ... uncontrollable ...

no where in the world is there extreme safety ... no where in the world you can say you can walk around and nothing will happen ... ppl like those guys walk and roam this earth everyday ... jus waiting to snap ... it all depends on when where and how much they snap ... so many instances to state here but jus think about that ...

as for the hostility ... come on guys ... read earlier in this thread and see how i posted ... i was an a-hole i know ... but now ive come to realize that its all petty high school bs ... or even middle school for some of us ... but no matter what it stipulates to one point ... we all have our own opinions ... but everyones gotta stop saying shut the f up ... or ... your gay ... or your a ****** ... or your stupid ... jus stop it gets you no where and makes you look even lower then how you jus put that person down ... why dont we all come to the same conclusion that this video was horrid and not suitable ... every post clearly states it was wrong ... we all agree .... so stop the fighting and jus talk about the video and not compete with others based on own personal opinions

humans are all capable of stuff like this. it's just another pleasure. our mind does not make a difference between what makes you feel good and what is socially considered horrible or disgusting. only thing taken into account is the previous experience of the self, which will guide your actions. that's why this sort of stuff doesn't surprise me this much. it's natural. cruelty is natural, and just hides under our respectable facade and our made up values. as soon as you don't need to hide it anymore (see New Orleans disaster) you turn into the beast you really are.

i do not feel the need to punctuate my sentences ... words are words whether they are used in formality or not ... this is not a business forum nor is it formal enough for me to waste my time to edit and revise it foilman ... "everybody has the own opinion" and your statement jus portrays what i was against in my previous post ... y do u feel the need to bash how i write ... why do ppl need to feel the need to bash everything a person does ... its hatred and misunderstanding of people or persons in this world that leads to violence such as this video ... i believe that you my friend need to get a grip on life and not so much care about the punctuality of my posts but get the grip on what my post meant ...

To add to this, it would actually be more efficient for you to just type one period at the end of a sentence instead of three. It just makes no sense. It's like you can't ever complete a ****ing thought. It's not hatred either; perhaps misunderstanding, but that's because I don't think it's egregiously difficult to use capitalization and punctuation.

I was saying that if he DID have the chance to fend them off at one point, he should have tried to. I'm PERFECTLY AWARE of the fact that that may have not been the case. I'm JUST SAYING that if he had the chance, he should have tried, and if he didn't then that's his problem. And about the self-defense classes or training that I mentioned - that has absolutely nothing to do with this guy. I don't know if he did or not. I'm just suggesting that more people should learn to defend themselves to prevent something like this from happening.

Wow...I just read this entire thread.

While I agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, what is also apparent is that not everyone has the same level of skill in communication of said opinion.

Going back on topic: Given that vets of what I will merely term "guro" are apparently warning others away from this video, I have no desire to seek this thing out, nor do I want to find out "how long I last." Rubix generally knows what he's talking about, people. This actually happened to some innocent man that may or may not have been able to defend himself, and out of respect for his memory, I am never going to watch this video.

In conclusion, let's just leave it that whatever happened to this person is almost too terrible for words, and that you may seek out this video at your own risk.

P.S. To Nyokou: Self-defense training or not, there eventually comes a point where you just can't defend yourself from a sufficient number of attackers, especially when they're armed, they have a plan, and they might even be better at fighting than you are. It always hurts me a little when people blame the victim for succumbing to their grisly fate.

No one knows the exact details. No one here does. I'm just saying things hypothetically. You DON'T know if they had weapons at the time of the assault. You CAN'T prove it. Because if they didn't then it would have been awesome if he at least TRIED to get away if he had the chance which is a VERY slim chance.

If he had no chance at all then yeah I feel really bad for him. I do regardless of whatever really happened.

It's impossible to know how a person will react when they are in a situation like this. You can take a million self defense classes but a person who is completely consumed with fear might not be able to recall those lessons.

If two men abducted me and started whacking me with a hammer I really have no idea how I would react. I would probably pray that they kill me quickly.

Sorry, Nyokou, but I think you lost on this one. You can't call people retarded for misinterpreting your post when you word it as such:

I realize that Spitfire. What I'm trying to say is that people should learn self-defense. Honestly, these guys were obviously targeting innocent people who had no confidence or will-power whatsoever to fight back. And it's just common sense to not be alone in places where you can easily get attacked/kidnapped/knocked out.

You never know what will happen, no matter where you are. Even if it's like the most peaceful town in the world to you. I feel bad for this man, but it's kind of his fault for getting taken advantage of and getting killed.

You're saying people should learn self-defense. Sure, I'd agree with that. The killers were targeting people who "looked like they wouldn't fight back," but really, we don't know what that means. The rest of your post is alright up until the last point in which you basically say it's the victim's fault for getting taken advantage of.

You can't come back around and get pissed off at people "misinterpreting" your post when there's really not a lot of room for misinterpreting. You clearly said it was his fault for getting taken advantage of, but we have no idea whether or not he fought back or tried to run. You even admit to this in a later post. There are details we don't know. Therefore, it's not fair at all to claim it's this dude's fault for getting killed, and that's why people jumped all over your post.

Clearly, though, I don't think you meant what you said in that way, but you have to understand why people jumped on it, and why they were justified in doing so.

Anyways:

Odds are, they beat this poor guy up by surprise with weapons after luring him in with civil conversation/maybe even offering a ride or something (if he did the latter, then I'd say it is more of his liability, because everyone should more or less know that it is dangerous to accept rides from strangers). Regardless, they probably beat him senseless. If you watch the video, you can see that he still has control over his hands and such, but isn't moving much otherwise. They probably broke some bones/impaired his motor control with damage to the head or something similar. It seems pretty clear that the beating beforehand was pretty damn rough.

I've asked a few of my friends about this who are extremely adept with self-defense, including one who is practically a machine when it comes to this stuff. They all agree that taking on multiple guys with weapons is not an easy feat, even for one who is trained. All it takes is one hard hit to a sensitive part of the body to make you lose focus and control, and from there it's essentially all downhill, leaving openings for further beatings (ESPECIALLY when they have the intent to permanently maim you or kill you).
