Re: What was the saddest anime scene you saw?
Well...my stomach is tied in knots at remembering this one...and my chest hurts so bad it's making me want to punch someone.

Pretty much the whole of the last two FMA episodes...but ESPECIALLY...ESPECIALLY when Ed died. I bawled like a baby...and only partially for the expected reasons. I mean....I'm not the fangirly, crushing on any character type. If I were in this case...it would be awfully narcissistic of me. I refer to him as my anime alter-ego...and therein lies what struck me the hardest.
The fact that it was so sudden...so bloody...and right in front of Al and Rose...I felt the guilt. I can't watch that scene without it ending in me bawling like a baby and repeating the words "I'm sorry" over and over again.
***END SPOILERS***
That scene gave me nightmares that continue to this day...and I first saw it over a year ago. I'm a bit too attached to the series for my own good.
