                            Interesting...one may consider this weird, but my favorate genre is music without words. What I mean is, my entire Ipod consists of video game music, orchestra music, classical music, certain celtic music, and a few classic rock songs.

                            I listen to these types of music because they inspire me for certain things. I listened to the Resurrection Theme from Passion of the Christ for inspiration the day before my Cross Country Sectionals meet. Consider my songs a genre or not, it's a collection of music that I listen to, and it inspires me.

                                        It's not weird. At least I don't think it is. I also like instrumental music.

                                        Sometimes instrumental music convey more emotion and have a bigger meaning than vocal music. For example, during an emotional scene that takes place during the preparation for a major battle, I'd much like to hear orchestral music than a battle hymn, even though I would enjoy the hymn. (Pippin's song during the battle for the reclaiming of Osgiliath was really nice.)

                                        (I consider music with human chanting, humming, etc to be instrumental music until there are lyrics, like the .hack//sign soundtrack.)
