Heroes

Re: Heroes

I don't recall seeing The Haitian back in The Company in season one.

I don't exactly remember where he was at the end but I don't think he was at the company...

Yeah I skipped through every episode from Company Man on. The Haitian doesn't even make an appearance after meeting up with Claire and Angela at Peter's apartment.

Re: Heroes

but, suresh goes down to haiti to cure him, no?

[Squeek]

Re: Heroes

Yeah.

It's a continuity error.

In Season 2, Mohinder travels to Haiti to cure him of his illness that he'd been suffering from ever since Season 1. In "Four Months Ago", the flashback episode in Season 2, Peter's powers are nullified by him at the company.

Like I said. Writer's strike.

Re: Heroes

You gotta love Sylar. I mean, I know he's a bad guy and everything but damn, he just gives me goosebumps with that evil aura of his. He's an awesome character and Zachary Quinto plays him so well.

Re: Heroes

Finished the volume. A few things.

1) Why god do people used there powers in the most stupid ways. I mean, Peter could have walked through the vault. There are a million things Hiro could of done to just own Adam. It even showed him using the teleporting well then he just decides to throw that out the window and get owned, then when he gets up he decides that instead of giving it another go he'll just go outside and mope. If Nathan never had shown up what would of happened? Monica could have spent a night watching loads of cool Bruce Lee films or whatever. I'd be straight on the 411vm's and fuccen Ninja films.

2) If the whole Adams blood thing doesn't work what about Claire's. Would that bring Nathan back?

3)I warmed up to Claire, she really did my head in through most of the series. Then she got cool because she understood more. But seriously, if she doesn't stop ragging on Noah I swear to god I will punch her and enjoy watching her nose mend time after time again just so I could punch it more. What's up with Noah's family, that guy is a total legend and all they do is cry at him for doing the best thing for everyone.

4)West is a little pecker. Just a little Muppet. Nice job being of no use what so ever.

5)So that's Elle chick, what a little Mug. "Daddy will be so proud!", no he won't. Now go charge my iPod you whinny little girl.

6)Why the hell is Bob not working in a golden office. Seriously.

Oh and guys what's with those ****roaches?

Edit: Lmao at filter.

Re: Heroes

1) Good question. Peter can bring other people with him with his phasing, so it's kinda funny to think why he didn't just take Adam with him. That would've prevented anyone from seeing them.

The rest really fits my annoyances as well, so yeah.

Like I said. Writer's strike.

Re: Heroes

About the Haitian continuity thing:

There obviously had to be at least a week between "Four Months Ago" and "Four Months Later" for Nathan to grow his beard and go through everything he did with his wife and kids. In the meantime, the Haitian must've somehow contracted the disease from the continuing research on the Shanti virus. Without them knowing Mohinder's blood was a cure, along with the Haitian's powers being supressed, they probably let him return to die in his homeland. Also, Peter would've been fine in the container for as long as he needed to, seeing as he should be able to survive without nurishment.

I don't think there are any holes in that theory.

That doesn't explain why the Company wasn't after the Haitian.

The issue is that he defied their orders and ran off to hide Claire.

They should be pissed about that, but suddenly he's working for them again. Anything that could reasonably explain that should have at least been mentioned in passing.

Re: Heroes

My only logical explanation for the Haitian is that the company is now ran by Bob and despite his innate creepiness, seems to be a nicer guy than Linderman. He seems more forgiving and understanding towards betrayal and doesn't seem like the guy who would kill off people who betrays him. Case in point, Mohinder. He destroyed all those vials of virus, he could have killed Mohinder off, but didn't because he understands he needs Mohinder. Bob probably wants the protection of the Haitian, which would be why he would let the Haitian back in if the Haitian agrees to provide protection.

Peter could have phased through the vault door, but he didn't because as usual, he is only thinking of one thing, prevent the vial from dropping. He has a tendency of having a one-track mind.

As said before, Hiro probably doesn't know the chop-off-the-head-weakness. So he decided to do the next best thing, imprison Adam in a impossible-to-escape-or-at-least-without-outside-help place, a grave underground.

I hate West and the Wonder Twins for the same reasons as you Squall, they provide no importance and have no character development in the story. West is useless, Maya cries people to death, and Alejandro does some pretty stupid things. We see no changes, growth, or amazing feats from any of these characters.

As for Nathan, my guess would be that Peter will give Nathan his blood when he has the chance.

That is a reasonable explanation. Would it have been too hard to mention that in passing, though?

I'm pretty sure that Hiro knew about the weakness. He didn't kill Adam because he doesn't want to kill people if he doesn't have to. Especially friends of his.

Jeez, give them some time! West was just a plot developer for Claire and HRG, but now that he's on the inside, he can actually go somewhere. Maya and Alejandro were just plot devices for Sylar, too, but now their story can go somewhere.

Also, how can you hate them? They've done little to nothing to earn hate...

Re: Heroes

Roaches are a reference to evolution I think, since they've been around for a really long time.
I'm not sure if I've ever noticed any roaches though, but I only saw the episode once, and that was a week ago.

Golden office wouldn't work very well since windows would become non-transparent, carpet would no longer be soft, doors, desks and chairs would be needlessly heavy and weak, and locks would also be weak, and all sorts of stuff. Considering his power, he's probably sick of even seeing gold.

I mentioned it a while ago already, but the 2nd last episode (and I guess at start of the last) had Hiro charge at Peter with his sword... why would he be such an idiot? As someone also mentioned, why peter didn't move through the safe is beyond me... like the story wouldn't have worked out the same if it was the case, but that's not really a realistic reason from the characters' perspective.

Logically, with a healer's blood in you, it would never die, and therefore continue healing a person throughout their life (or even make them immortal in theory). Thing is, I think their implementation will be somewhat fictional in that anyone who receives healing blood transfusions, only gets healed for that one instant. In fact I think the overall concept of the healing blood is the most unrealistic (since the key of healing comes from the brain)... but I guess one needs to just take a step back and look at everyone's powers, and then contemplate on how much a person should really care about the realism.

Re: Heroes

tsugo's explanation makes the most sense, unless the Haitian just came back and was like "she got away lol"

Even if Hiro did know he could kill Adam, I still think it's a lot cooler to torture him in a sitaution that he'll never realistically get out of.

Re: Heroes

I can hate things I don't like kay. It's more of a dislike than a hate with a burning passion though.

I think the company thinks that the Haitian is a mute.

Re: Heroes

Assuming Noah was the one who shot Nathan, there was no way he would've been able to get from the Company HQ, or even from California, over to the Odessa Police Station. Bob and Noah would've been just leaving his home in California, and the camera in the vault logically would've been set up to the same system that Elle found when she saw Sylar, meaning someone besides Bob, Noah, and Elle would've had to see it.

I don't know if it was ever clarified where the Company's location was where Peter stayed (probably somwhere in New York, since it was so easy for him and Adam to find Nathan after escaping, and for Elle to get to Isaac's loft so quickly), but they also would've had a facility in Texas that Noah used in the first season, so the assassin would've had to been somewhere there.

Um.

Which doesn't really help at all.
