I loved that episode. I can relate to what Haruhi said. You feel like your somebody until you mature and find out that really, your nothing. That's why she likes to believe in all she believes in, it contradicts the way the world really works, which she can't accept. I can't explain myself well enough I know but that's the gist of it. Anyway on a lighter note, the closed space scene was awesome. I loved the music.

The last episode is going to suck or it is going to be mind blowing. This episode was alright but I really did enjoy the closed space scene. Itsuki is actually important now.

There should be season 2, just because of the popularity and that they haven't covered even 3rd of the novels. I read novels and watch Anime, they compliment each other very well.

Rather underwhelming ending, if you ask me. It lacked tension, and the impact of what was happening just didn't seem up to what I was expecting.

More quality KyoAni directing though. I really wish they would put their efforts towards something with a stronger narrative behind it - I'll be quite happy if this series never gets a second season, which would give KyoAni time to work on stuff I might enjoy more >_>

Oh my god. Ive Loved this show from start to finish. It's been my favourite but now seeing the last episode im sure it will be a long time before anything tops that. The Ending was perfect. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Sooooooo pleased with it. Im not sure whether season two would be a good idea. I think it would be hard to top season one. Although id love to see more. Lots more. Has anything been confirmed for season 2? Or is that just internet bollocks floating around?

Nothing official about a second season has been announced. It is certainly likely, given the popularity of the series, but KyoAni will be busy with other stuff for a while.

I'd rather KyoAni focused their efforts on something I would enjoy more, but oh well.

The climax of the episode was underwhelming, but the resolution was quite good.

I'd be interested to see how they could pull off a second season if they decided to do it.
